Bought myself an ipod recently and thought how lovely and shiny it was and then how was I going to keep it that way!? So after alot of looking around I went for this one. It's a well made case which holds the ipod snugly and basically protects it very well. Everything is accessible so it's well thought out. My only gripe is although it's described as such I really don't think it is actually made from leather. Haven't used the belt clip as it was only ever intended to go in my pocket so can't comment on that front.

Great leather Case. Fits my IPod like a glove. Hopefully, it will help my IPod, to survive a few more years of use!

This item is very good. I read most of the reviews prior to ordering and desided to take a chance and I am please I did. My headphone jack is right angled and this helps when opening the flap with the headphones attached. I can see how stright jacks might obstruct the flap opening but this could ease with time as the leather softens and wears a little. Importantly, the ipod is held very securly inside the case and won't slip out. The supplied screen protector is a high quality type and easy to apply. The popper stud is of a low profile type so is not obtrusive. In the centre of the back is a very low profile silver stud and this is where the belt clip attaches. This just pushes on and gives a very reasuring click and it clips into place. I have pulled on it to gauge the security of it and It seems very strong indeed. The clip freely rotates and there is a push tab to release it back off the case. The springed clip that goes over the belt has a tab on the end that prevents the it slipping off. All in all I am very confident in this product and it is of a high quality!!! well worth the price. I'm concidering ordering another and putting it away for the future.

Real quality leather protective case. Hope it withstands real wear ! Only time will tell. Can’t really complain as it was so reasonably priced.Recommended.

I'm pretty sure this case IS NOT genuine leather. I got several people to look at it and sniff at it and we all agreed it is not leather.That's the only reason for not giving it 5 stars though.It is a very nice case and it fits perfectly. And it does look like leather even if it smells of plastic!It comes with a well fitting screen protector and a belt clip but you don't have to use the clip and the stud for the clip lays flat to the case when not in use.Obviously it makes the iPod Classic a bit bulkier but it is still pocketable and it gives the iPod Classic really good protection.All the openings line up nicely.For the money you can't complain.

Much prefer this to the one that opens from the side that I've used for years. It's robust and sturdy, you can connect the USB cable without having to remove it, and also the clip on feature is handy if you want to do that - for me it's by far the best solution I've ever had to using for drumming practice, much better than having it in a pocket or on a surface where it might fall. The only thing that annoys me is how hard the fastener is to close, you have to line it up and push it quite hard, but it's a minor complaint. Recommended.
