We have two dogs and a neighbour who is having masses of building work done.Constant flow of vans and workmen outside upsetting the poor mutts on a daily basis. We put this on our lower windows, quite easy to apply, good quality, easy to measure and hasn't blocked any light. We did use the specific applicator bought separately. It has certainly taken away their stress and ours and we would recommend.

1. Clean the window thoroughly. If you have double glazing, make sure you clean out the recesses around the edges. All the muck and dirt collects and it will come back to haunt you if you don't clean it out properly!2. Measure the window as accurately as you can. It is far easier to cut the material before you put it on the window. I would not recommend cutting off excess strips while it is on the window. The video tutorials on You Tube make this process look very simple, when it is anything but!3. Make sure you place the shiny side on the window, and also make sure the window has been wetted. I used a smidgen of washing up liquid and the rest water in an old spray bottle.4. The material is easy enough to shift around once it's on the window. Once I get a decent fit into the recesses on all four sides, I started scraping out the air bubbles and excess liquid. I worked downwards so the liquid was easy to clean up. Oh, make sure the material has been sprayed again to make the scraping process easier. I used the application set including scraper and craft knife.5. The scraping process takes time and patience. I agree with other reviewers, it is difficult to remove every single tiny air bubble, but I'm satisfied with what I have, because you can't really see them. Pay particular attention to the corners, these are a pig to rid of air bubbles. I used the flat of a Stanley knife blade for this purpose, though you might try a credit or library card. You really need something with right angles to get into the corners properly.6. That's it really. The results are pretty good, and the material is tough and durable. It does exactly what it says - it lets in plenty of light while remaining opaque to the outside world.Conclusion - good product, very worthwhile, but not as easy as it seems and requires care and patience.

i purchased this to cover a small window in my hallway. It was really easy to apply i had no issues with putting it up at all. It works wonders and now i have the privacy i wanted without having nets.I cleaned the window first and then used a spray with a very small amount of washing up liquid in it so that i was able to move the film easy into place. I used a credit card to smooth out the small amount of air bubbles that i had, i was pleasantly surprised that there was only a few air bubbles.The film is quite thick and takes awhile to cut to i suggest a sharp blade to trim it down with. ive checked the results this am and there are no air bubbles and it looks great. i like the way its static cling so no worries about it sticking to the window in the wrong position then not being able to move it and a section being ruined.

I bought this to add some frosting to the rear door to our garage where my bikes are stored. I didn't trust myself to get the adhesive film right first time so thought I'd give this version a try, nit expecting it to work as well. In fact it's been brilliant - it took me a couple of goes to position it correctly but since then I've left it alone and it's remained in place for a couple of months now.Two pieces of advice for anyone considering using this:1) use plenty of water to wet the window, ideally spraying with a fine mist so as to get even coverage.2) I used a credit card to smooth out the film and push out the air bubbles. This worked but the hard plastic did scratch the film slightly. It's only in my garage so no big deal, but if you really care about the finish it might be best to use a softer rubber squeegee or similar.I'd definitely buy this again for a similar job.

The film was very simple to apply and, more importantly, has stayed on my steamy bathroom window several months later! A few tips that you may find helpful... 1. I created a paper template to make sure that I had the exact size I needed before cutting the film. 2. I decanted a bottle of window cleaner into a jug to use to spray the water onto the glass before applying the film (then poured the window cleaner back into the bottle afterwards!) which helped to create an even layer of water before applying the film. 3. I measured the templates fractionally smaller than the actual window pane which made it easier to apply the film and more easily remove any air bubbles. The actual film is very robust and lets in lots of light while ensuring privacy. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Great product, arrived promptly, applied to my son's two windows for privacy. Easy to apply and good finish. Therefore i thought i would order some for my windows. Had to chase this order as didn't arrive, they said they would send out again. Unfortunately i still didn't recieve the order and a lot of time had passed. I cancelled the order as they were not as efficient as previously thought.

Very easy to use! Spraying more water helps if you can’t get it to stick. If you mess up placement just peel off and re stick! I found it easy with one helper :) I bought a spray bottle and shower squeegee from the dollar store.

Ce film est opaque mais laisse passer la lumière. Son intérêt majeur réside dans sa largeur de 67,5 cm qui permet de couvrir une vitre "standard" sans le moindre raccord....(ce type de film électrostatique est habituellement vendu en 45 cm).Il est très facile à poser: il suffit d'humidifier la vitre et de lisser les bulles d'air à partir du centre vers l'extérieur avec une carte type carte de crédit et l'adhérence est parfaite!Ce film a été installé sur les vitres d'un mobil home afin de préserver les occupants des regards indiscrets des voisins. Il est fort apprécié car il permet de garder les rideaux ouverts et de profiter des rayons du soleil en toute quiétude!

Prodotto molto buono, alla fine la resa estetica e notevole .. tanto che mi chiedevano se avevo comprato già i vetri delle finestre acidati.L'importante è applicarlo correttamente, io reputo indispensabile la paletta di plastica ( io ho usato quella per sghiacciare frigo ma va bene anche quella per parabrezza).Per fare un buon lavoro:1- Prendere bene le misure calcolando almeno 1mm in meno rispetto alle guarnizioni vetro-telaio, in modo che la pellicola non si impunti e rimanga sollevata ai lati.2- pulire bene il vetro3- io (essendo in inverno) ho scaldato appena il foglio con il phon per renderlo più morbido... ma appena una passata non dovete cuocerlo.. d'estate non credo proprio serva4- bagnare bene il vetro con uno spruzzino.. non abbiate paura spruzzate e bagnate bene.5- applicate la pellicola posizionandola come desiderate ( se avrete bagnato bene il vetro vi permetterà di spostarla a vostro piacimento scorrendo sull'acqua).6- con la paletta di plastica eliminate tutte le bolle d'acqua/aria dal centro verso l'esterno (togliendo l'acqua che esce con uno straccio7-a lavoro finito ultima passata con straccio e lavoro finito!!
