Pentel PPB-7 Hi-Polymer Colored Lead, Blue

I love these leads but they are not for everyone, they are very hard so can be a little brittle and they are more difficult to erase so it's best if you sketch very lightly however on the plus side it gives very crisp, sharp lines and it won't smudge like traditional pencil lead plus personally I am a fan of the look. If you import into Photoshop its also easier to key out the sketch lines if you wish.

Replacement leads for pencil I bought years ago. Good strong couloir and don’t break easily.

These leads were black. Not the slightest hint of blue. Undoubtedly black. see my skertches attached - all black no blue.

My son has been using these leads for animated character outlines for many years and this was a reorder. Excellent product.

These are not suitable for drawing freehand if you want a pencil that can be drawn over and disappears in the photocopy... They are about a 2H in hardness which is unpleasant for free hand drawing where B to 3B would be average. The same goes for the red ones. I may be able to find a use for them but it will be marginal.
