I was a bit wary as some of the reviews noted the tops came off easily but I'm not an electrician and need them only occasionally for DIY jobs. So far so go. No issue with any of the rods, one even got stuck and I had to pull really hard to free it & the tip didn't come off. The storage sleeve is pretty rubbish. The lid was cracked from day one but I just taped it up. Overall very happy!

I have used them a handful of times and are brilliant for little tasks, small cables.However don't try to put any stress on them otherwise they just snap instantly.They're good value for money and I would recommend them for small tasks, but for everyday professional use, you're better off spending a bit more and get something more durable.

Used these to pull in a telephone cable under the floor. The rods easily screw together, appear to be pretty robust and very flexible. They did the job and come at a very reasonable cost.

Not used ,as yet. Expecting to use them soon. They do seem a decent bit of kit. One obstacle was getting them out of case, really tight fitting......maybe too tight.

I'm pleased with these, but they're not perfect. For a start, the hook didn't screw onto the end of any of the poles (the thread was too small). I taped it on, then lost it somewhere in a ceiling space - but no matter, I replaced it with a simple cup hook, this time securely duct-taped into position!The poles are very stiff. It takes a lot of pressure to bend them more than slightly out of shape. So if you reach into a ceiling space, the poles are likely to be scraping against the floor above. That said, this means they tend to go in a straight line, so you know roughly were the end is, rather than just bending and coiling all over the place when you push.The other aspect is getting them out of the next hole in the ceiling. This can be a challenge, and a bright torch can help you to see when it's lined up correctly (the blue colour helps here). But the pole will probably be out of reach, as it's pressed up against the floor above. This is where the hook comes in handy. I kept one section of pole back with the hook attached, didn't use it in the ceiling space, instead I used it to grab the pole and pull it down to me so I could grab it and pull it through the hole.

I have used the expensive cable rods and found that it is a bit hard to justify the cost especially when they break in the middle of a main cable pull in, so I decided to purchase a set of these low cost rods and I am very pleased with the quality especially considering the price difference. Only long term use will tell if they are up to the mark, but considering the price they are easily replaced.I am updating my review as I have used these rods several times over the last two months and I am pleased to report that there has been no mishaps and they performed very well without any breakages, on three occasions there was an enormous amount of strain put on the rods but I am glad to say that the kit so far has performed without a hitch.

These arnt the best rods out there and they will splinter in half sometimes, but for what they cost compared to other brands perfect for me

Se la compro un compañero, me la dejo y desde entonces es imprescindible.La utilizamos para tirar lineas por falso techo y viene genial, es mas flexible que las varillas y mas rigida que la canaleta, que era lo que usabamos hasta ahora.Tengo que decir que en unos 15 dias de uso ya he roto una rosca de una y se separo un terminal del plastico de otra (se pegó con superglue) pero fue por forzalas en exceso. Aún asi ya estan amortizadas.No pensaba ni por asomo que fuese tan util. Hemos comprado otras 2.

Après éssai se produit est de bonne qualité,le filtage des embouts est de diamètre 4 donc prévoir le raccord 4/5 pour plus de choix dans l'achat d'embout
