Been looking forward to a proper WCW compilation DVD of matches ever since WWE bought out WCW as I hardly ever chose to watch WCW over WWE/F. I'm pleased as there are some really good matches but I wouldn't say great, but I'd recommend It tho.

I don't honestly remember WCW PPVs being available in the UK back when the company still existed, so I'm really pleased to have a set like this. Not all of these matches are essential- some of the old style NWA matches move at a rather slow pace, so take some getting used to. That being said, the Flair- Steamboat match is undoubtedly a classic, as is Flair's battle with Sting from 1990. Some of these matches have been on other DVDs, such as Goldberg vs DDP, but that match definitely belongs here. Booker T makes a good host, but I think that's the only reason his title match with Jeff Jarrett is included here. The ladder match from Starrcade 2000 is a weird inclusion. It's also great to see a high quality match from a pre Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the War Games match is pretty brutal. Overall, a more than worthwhile collection for anyone who was a fan of WCW.

I've start to watch pro wrestling with WCW back in 90's.For me this blu-ray is absolutely great because at the same time I recalled my childhood with the matches of superstars like Hulk Hogan,Macho Man,Lex Luger,Kevin Nash,Scott Hall,DDP,Goldberg,Sting and saw some late 80's-early 90's classics of Ric Flair,Ricky Steamboat,Dusty Rhodes,Road Warriors,Brian Pillman,Vader,Mick Foley and even "Stunning" Steve Austin for a first time and I loved it ! Great blu-ray,a must-have for a wrestling fan.I hope we'll see a volume 2 someday...
