Best Christmas Present!!
This product arrived on time for advent eventhough I had to order it through my relations in mainland United Kingdom. For some reason it could not be delivered directly to Ireland. Anyway I bought this toy for my nephew as his Christmas present because both of us are keen Star Wars fans. Both of us do live with the Force!! When the toy arrived my nephew just got so excited with its contents and just wanted to play with each part of its contents. Luckily he decided to play the advent calendar concept and was so delighted in opening each item as the days passed on. What made it even more exciting was that his father got him a At-AT Walker from Empire Strikes Back. That ended such a great journey shared by both of us. Well worth getting for any serious Star Wars fan no matter what age. He was so impressed with this toy it now leaves my with a question of what to get him this year.

Godson so excited by!
I haven't written an Amazon Review before. I wasnt sure about getting this - partly the price and partly it didnt feel so of Advent. But I then decided could be an early Christmas present - and I could have bought another maybe more of Advent as well. I did first check with my Godson's mother that he was into Lego Star Wars - but I had no expectation of the response it would have. I dont think I could have given a more appreciated present! I understand my Godson told his father that he was so excited to be opening another door each morning that he didn't think he'd be able to sleep! I would definately recommend for Lego Star Wars fans if it's affordable - and I'll be looking out for Lego Advent Calenders again next year.

Star wars advent calendar
I bought this for my twin grandsons, aged six, and currently star wars crazy. I had already bought them the city advent calendars (not yet opened), so I didn't actually use it as a advent calendar. When I had bought them standard models (starfighters and the like) I found they were not very interested in the larger models, but obsessed with the mini figures. There are 24 little models in this set, which, if you open the box carefully by slitting the sticky tape, (rather than just ripping the end open, as I did) are accessed by opening one window for each day up to Christmas Eve. Under the window is a picture to help you assemble the model, and the bits for each model are individually packed in a small plastic bag.The number of pieces in each model varies from four to about 21. About 12 of them seem to be various types of star fighters, (rather cleverly realised in such a small format) and there are eight little figures (including Yoda as Father Christmas!), plus a few odds and ends (weapons and a Christmas tree). The boys are not mature enough yet to assemble them correctly, so I spent a happy evening doing it myself, and I have been doling out the models as rewards for particularly good behaviour. The boys love them.

Lego star wars advent calendar
My kids (age 5, 7 and 10y) are all batty about star wars, and love lego. Not surprisingly, this advent calendar has been a big hit on the countdown to Christmas, with much excitement building the minikit/figure each day. Quite pricey for what you actually get, but in the spirit of Christmas I'm prepared to overlook that. It's certainly entertained all month long.

OK but could have been better
My son is star wars mad so I was very excited to buy it for him. The packaging isn't that durable so when you opened the doors you had to be very precise or it all ripped open. Some days were better than others, he loved the figures but some of the little items were a bit fiddly and the instructions weren't the best. I don't think I would bother again with this but it was fun.

A big dissapointment ( i ended up not getting it LOL )
I saw this and thought " I NEED IT TO LIVE! " Then i found out about asda, who were selling this cheaper. I decided to get the one from asda, of corse. So buyer BEWARE! Also, all the little ships are really boring. I WANTED MIRE MINIFIGURES!

More expensive than the same item on Lego.com!
As a product? I love it. Really looking forward to the 1st of December. However I feel strongly about the fact that Amazon feels justified in charging £10 more than Lego.com (who are already way too highly priced themselves) for this product. It has sold out over there and this is a classic example of Amazon realising they're in a monopolistic position, enough to completely overcharge their customers. Not impressed.
