Envii Pond Klear - Natural Green Pond Water Treatment, Clears Green and Murky Water for Crystal Clear Healthy Water, Safe for all Fish and Wildlife -1L Treats 40,000 Litres

Having tried numerous products over the summer months, with little success, I thought I’d give this ago, it arrived yesterday, I only have a small pond with a home made plant pot filter with different filter medium in it, bedded in the middle is a pond sponge filter which you attach an airline to, mines run by a solar aerator which has a back up battery. Anyway, I did a water test before adding the solution, I have 190 litre pond, but it said you could triple the dose, so I added 15ml to a watering can of water from my water butt, I try not to use tap water, after day 1 I’m quite impressed the pond is already visibly clearer and I can make out the fish at the bottom. I will add an update in a few days 😀UpdateWell after 7 days, my pond is now crystal clear, it works brilliantly, for clearing murky green water. My pond was left like that after I had blanket weed in the pond and hair algae, I used another product to clear that first. 😁

I've had this bottle sitting in my shed for nearly a year and never used it despite my pond always looking murky, however I decided to give it a go about 6 days ago and already I can see improvements! In fact for the 1st time in a long time with the right light I can actually see to the bottom of my pond! I did clean my filter out before I used it as instructed and I'm sure that has helped but I clean the filter out at least once a month anyway without it making any real difference to the water quality so I can only assume its to do with this magical liquid! Highly recommend it and I'm hoping my pond just continues to get clearer!

After eventually using the whole bottle my pond is still green with algae. Very disappointed. (And yes I did follow the instructions carefully.)

I have a Koi pond with two filters (one gravity fed biological and another pressurised filter) and UV light. Keeping the water clear this summer has been a bit of a nightmare so I thought I'd give this a go.Firstly nowhere on the bottle itself does it say to switch off the UV light. I only picked up on this because I made sure I read up first and watched their you tube video. It directs to leave your bulb off for at least 3 days after treatment. It's not overly clear whether Envii are actually suggesting you just completely leave your UV light off during the course of the treatment, or switch it on after 3 days.After just over a couple of weeks I noticed no difference whatsoever. They do advise that it's not a quick working product and can take up to 8 weeks but they do suggest noticeable difference after a week. I've now switched the UV light back on and instant clarity. I'm not sure whether it is a combination of the product, and the UV light, or just the UV. All in all my main point is, it;s not overly clear how you should be using it with a UV and I'm not convinced that it is that effective.
