A great beginners writing guide , especially for westerners who are not used to the script .
I love this book . A resource for complete beginners. I also struggle with my hands so to have the guidelines to get used to the best way to write the script is great for me . It helps me see that I'm making progress.

Does exactly what it says!
It shows the letters in all their forms and then how to join them. It is exactly what I've been looking for - most of the other books only give the letters in isolated form.

It's a very good starter book for both young and old.
This appeals greatly to me as Arabic appears as difficult to understand as it is beautiful to hear. This looks to be a simple exercise book with easy to follow instructions for students.

Great
My 6 year old has not used it regularly for me to give a fair review. However, it does look appealing with clear and child friendly font.

Not for new starters
If you already know the arabic alphabet, you can read and write, this book can help you to learn a quicker way of handwriting. It's meant to teach you a Ruq'ah script after you learnt the Naskh script. This means the book is absolutely not a good choice for new starters. For them I reccomend more the Gateway to Arabic Book 1 or the Key to Arabic 1 from te same athor.
