Nearly perfect
This works really well and keeps the cast completely dry. It's a little awkward to put on and feels very tight when above the knee. Only real criticism is it needs a non slip pad on the bottom. (slippery when wet!).

Completely waterproof
I've used this twice in the shower - for about 15 minutes each time - and it has been completely waterproof both times, not a drop of water has got in. It is easy to understand the instructions, fairly easy to manoveuvre over the cast, and dries off quickly. I bought the short leg version for a lower leg cast and it fitted snugly just below the knee, where it is supposed to go. The diameter of my leg just below the knee is about 14"/36cm. Out of interest I pulled the blocc protecter up above my knee just to see if I could wear it up to there too; it went up that high but was uncomfortably tight (diameter of leg an inch or two above the knee: 16 1/2" or 42cm). So if you have a leg cast above the knee, or have very fat lower legs, you'd be better off with the longer leg version. If you are very short (I am average height for a woman: 5' 4" / 162cm tall) and slim you could consider the child version, which comes in different heights.

It's heavy and bulky and slippery. That's no good in the bath. Hope I can return it

Just the job
Having started off using a bin bag and velcro straps just to have a shower, I was quite surprised to find out that things like this even existed.With the promise of 'ease of use' and 'totally waterproof' I thought it was worth a punt.Arrived quickly, and works a treat - made to the same sort of standard and materials as the seals on my drysuit, so I would expect it to last a long time (if stored properly) - but as my leg is only broken, it only had to work for 6 weeks - until the cast came off..... but a more permanent injury would still get good use out of it.I used it for a fortnight in Tunisia - both in the shower and swimming pools - it remained watertight for over 30 minutes - and even then it would have probably gone on longer, but it's hard to swim with a 'floating' foot!Also used it for a Turkish bath (about an hour) - bandage was a bit damp afterwards, but probably more to do with perspiration than leakage of the cover.Not as cheap as a bin bag, but I'd buy it again if i ever needed one.
