L'Oréal Colorista Washout Indigo Semi-Permanent Hair Dye

I had some concerns about how the Turquoise would come out on my hair after looking at the reviews after I ordered, but stuck with my decision and was very pleasantly surprised!My natural colour is dark blonde/light brown and the colour came out really nicely (without using bleach!), more forest/sea green than bluey turquoise but looks really nice!Probably wouldn't recommend for hair much darker/ash undertones however as you might not get as much colour payoff without bleaching (most of the reviews I watched were hair shades darker and although some came out alright there seemed to be a risk of not much showing/swampy green colour) With lighter hair you might get staining, I might yet as I still don't know how this dye will wash out.This being said I also have short hair so could use more dye on sections and having experience with the Colorista Orange hair left the dye on for around 45-50 mins for more vibrancy which I recommend. If you have long hair, get more than one bottle, especially if you want to do full coverage.The Colorista orange hair is pretty great too but more tinted my dark blond hair w red undertones to be more ginger, I personally already prefer the turquoise as it shows up differently to my natural tone (as it would sfhjsd)Overall the dye is great for do it yourself and leaves your hair soft, but my only warning is to check how it might come out on your hair colour before buying.

I bought the dirty pink shade hoping it would show on my home coloured medium golden blonde with light blonde faded ends and brown underneath.After a strand test I was happy to see it shows and applied all over the blonde top half.The gloves are very thin so you might want to be careful with long nails.Application was easy, a bit like applying a normal hair mask to dry hair. I needed about two thirds of the tube to get good coverage so if you have long hair and want an all over colour I'd recommend buying 2.Left on for 15 minutes, rinsed with lukewarm water and blow dried my hair. It's very soft and shiny and smells nice.The colour didn't stick to my roots (I expected that since they're less porous) which adds a little of that "undone" messy look.I can't say how long this will stay in before I'll need to reapply but will update my review when I know. Overall I'm happy with the product and would buy it again.The photos show the colour in sunlight and shade. It's slightly less orange than the camera makes it look in the sun.

I’ve used this dye for about 2 years now and always adored the colour! It’s the only indigo I’ve ever found that’s dark enough for what I’m going for. Unfortunately since the formula has changed it’s not the same colour! Even the packaging clearly doesn’t show the same colour result. It’s more of a violet colour than an indigo now.

Perfect ,used for sports day easy to use ,amd washes out within a few washes ,lovely colour too ,and does work on brown hair 😀

This was supposed to be indigo and it said it can be used on darker hair. My daughters hair was brown so wasn't expecting it to be as bright as the pictures advertising but thought it would go more of a purply blue than it did. Her hair basically looks like I've just dyed it a darker brown! Very disappointed as its £7! Using hair chalks on her hair that aren't for dark hair we get more vivid colours!Change your advertising it does not work on dark hair even the vivid colours!FUMING!My other daughter has blonde hair and has wanted it blue for ages so I just tried hers and it did NOTHING literally nothing her hair hasn't changed AT ALL!

It didn't show up at all, I've used a few colours from various brands and this is definitely in the bottom few, it's not blue for a start it's purple. And I felt like I just rinsed it all down the drain.Won't be buying again.

So easy to use.....mixed the amount I needed with conditioner, combed it through and left on for 10 minutes. Result was amazing! Just the shade I was hoping for.Delivery was on time and well packed without any wasteful extras.Very pleased 🤗
