TRIGGERPOINT Performance Therapy AcuCurve Massage

I am so happy to have found this highly effective product. It is like a Theracane but better. Awesome value for the money. Solid, versatile and easy to use. I primarily use to to release tension from my shoulders - especially around my scapula. It is comfortable to hold, a good weight - definitely not flimsy. The knobs are firm but do give so there is no pain at the pressure point application. Highly recommend!

The TriggerPoint AcuCurve is THE BEST device to work out tension in the neck, shoulders, back, especially the hard-to-reach spots alongside the shoulder blades. I've tried numerous devices, to include the S-curved Body Back Buddy that is awkward and too big to be practical. But this TriggerPoint AcuCurve is fantastic in every way (no exaggeration)! I have one for home, one for my car, and one to keep at work. Believe me, size matters! This is small enough that it doesn't get in the way when not in use, but perfect in size for use, and is very, very effective! The price has gone down too since my first purchase. I guarantee you will be very pleased with it's performance. Use the single knob for the back and hard to reach spots (raise and lower applying pressure, or rotate the handle on a circular motion to work out your knots and tense muscle strands).use the ball parts for rubbing your rear and side neck muscles and the muscles at the base of your skull. Even use the curve around the back and side of your neck in an up and down motion or rotate the handle on small circles to massage the variety of neck muscles simultaneously. It is very sturdy! I'm willing to bet that the pictures posted of broken AcuCurves were due to a ridiculous and unnecessary amount of pressure - probably using it as a fulcrum to lift furniture! I promise, if you break it, you're not using it for massaging!

This massage hook is sturdy and does what it's designed for, as long as you have a smaller build. I'm a woman, 5'4", not particularly chesty, but not skinny either (size 14) - and it reached the pesky knot between my shoulder blades just fine and was sufficiently sturdy for me to put good pressure on it. But my husband has the same shoulder blade knot, and he could not fit the hook over his shoulder & pec to reach it. He had to angle it up, so it was more like he was using the flat side of the black massage egg, not the pointier part. It also was resting on his shoulder, so he couldn't really create the leverage to massage it deeply. He is only 5' 11", but heavier (2XL) and barrel shaped - there's no way he could hook this product over his shoulder like I could on my body. The horizontal distance from the egg's point to the cane on the opposite side is only about 6." Since looking around more on Amazon, some other products are over 8" in that measurement, so I am returning this one and trying a larger one. If you have a smaller build, it will probably work great but if you are a very busty woman or a bigger guy, you might need to look for a different style. On a different note, the seams from the injection molding of the plastic parts are quite raised, at least on the one I got. When I was using it the seam on the black egg felt scratchy and irritating through my shirt. If I were to keep it, I would just file the seam down with a nail file, but since I'm returning it, I obviously didn't.

Excellently designed to reach areas others don't reach! Would never want to live without this! I'm a professional massage therapist for almost 20 years, I've worked standing up in retail jobs running a cash register & walking hard floors. I've sat at desks all of my life, sometimes on jobs for eight or more hours a day. Been in a number of car accidents etc too, starting in childhod. And had migraine and cluster tension headaches since early childhood and throughout my life. This helps me with trigger points, upper back tension, forward head posture from using my phone and sitting reading too much - as well as emotional and mental stress causing tension and 'knots' in my back. It helps when I've lifted things that were too heavy or with repetitive motion strain. It's easy to use, has superior leverage, Compact and I take it in my car places when I feel like I might need it during the day or on a trip. I cannot recommend this one highly enough, it's very special and unique!

Video was uploaded separately. This was such an amazing tool in helping relieve back shoulder pain especially around the neck and ESPECIALLY for people who look down into their phones too much! Yes you too! Stand straight! You're welcome. But over 6 months of moderate use (once a week if I average it out, since I'd use it more heavily after certain weekends when I'd go out and not use it at all for some weeks at a time).. now it's just become much looser, lost the tension within and soooo much more difficult to get it to pull onto the right spot. Honestly works at 20-30% of what it was capable of when I first got it. It used to be so relieving that I got a buddy of mine one too. Now I'm just disappointed that it didn't last even a year, although I would expect multiple years 3 at minimum, since this wasn't one of the cheaper ones, it was more moderately priced for this type of item on Amazon. There were similar items for nearly half the cost or 40% off what this was.

Finally something to help get the knots out of my upper back! I crochet and paint etc, and after long stints I can get awful knots at the top of my back/shoulder area. I hold near the orange and to give me leverage to press the black end into the knot and hold with pressure and I can feel the knot releasing. Great product. A bit of a pain to store, but it's worth it :)

The best massage that works and easy to use. Handy, my best friend in fact!!!! So well recommended, you won't regret at all. Thank you really coz I manage to massage my back and felt better each time.

Was a bit worried about this breaking after reading reviews when I bought it, but triggerpoint usually makes good stuff, must of had it for a year or two now, I dont know if people are using it for a grappling hook or what to break it, but no issues here, been really useful.
