AG Care Mousse Gel Extra-Firm Curl Retention, 10 Fl Oz

This is the BEST product I’ve ever used for my curls. No joke.The combination of a gel and a mousse- not too sticky, still airy and light but a great hold , shiny and frizz free. So impressed with the results!

This is a great substitute for Verb’s foam gel previous formula.

When I first started my curly girl journey, this was my go to and still is today. I love how there is just a little crunch afterwards and I’m left with shiny, soft and bouncy curls. There is a soft scent to it, but it doesn’t stick around on your hair. I have fine, thin hair and it works really well!

This mousse gel is extremely light weight, doesn't dry out out hair if used too much, doesn't weigh down hair, has a really good hold as well (upto 48 hrs for my hair). I have fine and oily 2c/3a curls low porosity so pretty much any product weighs my hair down. This is the first product which hasn't weighed my hair down. My curls look and feel beautiful and even if you use too much, its super easy to break this gel cast so you absolutely can't go wrong with this one!. It is a little to the expensive side but its well worth the money.

My curly-haired daughter uses this as the last step in her haircare routine and it works fine, holds the curls throughout the school day. Our only issue is the smell. It has a strong chemical scent that lingers long after we've left the house. We actually step outside the house to apply it. We'll be looking for an alternative just because of that, which is a shame because it actually works.

This product is too harsh and drying for my wavy hair. When I used a ton, I got good waves, but my hair was still frizzy and I had to use my hair oil to rehydrate. My hair looked great the next day after I brushed it out and applied a ton of hair oil...

I have wavy/curly hair and this is favorite mousse gel. Gives you volume, definition, and doesn’t leave your hair crunchy or greasy. In my opinion, not many products can compare! It’s pricey but I think it’s worth it. :)

I thought at first my bad results with this product might be user error, but I have now used it 5+ times. It produces a good hold at first, but by the end of the day it has made my hair extremely dry and tangly. My hair very rarely tangled before I used this product. I have tried using different amounts of product, adding water, blow drying, air drying, more leave in conditioner, more curl cream, less of each of those... With every try I got the same dry, tangled result. I'm not sure what's up with this product but it sure didn't work for me.
