Xmas present
Bought the day before xmas eve with next day delivery as my 3year old was going on and on and on about wanting this only a few days before the big day! It arrived very quickly at 11am xmas eve which gave me enough time to wrap and put in santas sack ready for delivery that evening. I saved this gift for her last present to open on xmas day and my 3 year old squealed with excitement when she tore the paper open. Needless to say it was money well spent to see how happy it made her. However in terms of use it's messy and expensive for what you get and lives on the top shelf of the kitchen cupboard now

Don’t bother- useless
Waste of money, don’t buy, it’s actually easier to just make them yourself at home with bowls!!!!Doesn’t even come with the breadsticks/chocolate/sprinkles or the batteries you need!!!! Not to mention it creates more mess than just doing it yourself!!!! Useless

Messy but fun!
Would have given it 5 if the chocolate melted quicker. It goes together easy and the instructions are easy to follow. Just make sure you read them through before starting.I got this for my 6yr olds birthday and we did it together with her 4yr old sister. I wouldn’t recommend leaving kids to it as if the breadsticks are too long they pop out and the sprinkles fly everywhere! We did it on the kitchen table so mess didn’t bother us. I tried the hot water melting method but it wasn’t fast enough so I popped the pot in the micro. That was a mistake as it melted a bit of the pot into a funny shape. So if your going to micro it do it on low power and with no water in the pot!We used chocolate buttons, Italian breadsticks broken in half and hundreds and thousands and the girls had great fun taking it in turns to make one and of course they got eaten straight away! You have to make sure you close the filter funnel once you let the sprinkles fly or they start flying back out again.Everything looks like it can be thrown in the dishwasher too, which is what i have just done.Good fun. Going to use some coconut next time. Yum.

Not very chocolatey
Not very chocolatey - when you dip the breadstick in the chocolate and remove it the chocolate is left on the stick in thin lines so it’s quite hard for the sprinkles to stick to it. It was still lots of fun though, and the kids loved it.

Make it yourself
This was bought for a 5 year old’s birthday gift. It has been a great success but be aware you have to now buy chocolate, bred sticks and sprinkles galore to keep it stocked! Is it unnecessary plastic? Possibly, but nonetheless good fun and means children are at least eating something they have ‘made’ and not just bought at the shop.

Don’t buy!!!! Cheap plastic rubbish!
load of rubbish. My little lad saw the advert on TV and asked for it as a gift. I bought it on line and it arrived the next day.For an item called chocolate sprinkle sticks.. the are no chocolate, no sprinkles and no sticks in the fella. The plastic is cheap crap that doesn’t hold together, the screw for tha battery holder was stripped. I had to take the full base off to fit the battery. When I opened it up there’s simply a cheap motor attached to a battery inside.I felt sorry for my little one so went and got all the stuff to make to sticks. It would have been more fun and cheaper not to bother with this rubbish and just cook with the little guy.I’m sick of all kids toys being over priced cheap plastic rubbish. Half the things I buy him fall apart after a day or so and end up in the bin. Why do we just accept this garbage with kids toys? If it was stuff we bought for ourselves we’d be going mad.Anyway it’s a shame amazon sell these awful products. I blame myself for not reading the reviews and also the adverts that make this look like the best present in the world to kids.Awful product!!!

Broke just putting batteries in
it was a bargain at £5 after being discounted but we now know why - before we even got to turn it on, we heard rattling inside the machine, when we opened the battery compartment, we saw one side of the connection for the batteries had came loose on the other side so the battery couldnt provide power to the machine.we had purchased 2, so tried the second one incase it was just a faulty product but while we were successful putting batteries in the second unit, the turner wouldnt turn as if it was jammed. after taking it appart and reassembling it a little looser, it still didnt turn fast enough to scatter the sprinkles.and dont get me started on the tap water to melt the chocolate........doesnt work - we followed the instructions, put in hot tap water as boiling would warp the plastic, sat for over 10mins, and nothing. the water had cooled down before it could melt anything. ended up having to dip breadsticks into nutella and stick them into a tub of sprinkles.save your money - it was a total waste.
