I've been using Ball Mason jars for years and consider them the very best for all applications. Unfortunately, whether or not all the jars will survive the rigours of courier travel is another matter. This is my second purchase of these 4-oz. jars from Amazon, and each time one is broken. They're not precisely inexpensive for four small jars, so it's a bit galling when one or more is damaged in transit. I tried contacting the seller, but as usual, in these circumstances, you have to take a chance and hope for the best because I haven't heard back. The standard product box doesn't offer any protection, so the product depends on adequate protection for transit. The box for sending them was inadequate, and a piece of brown paper was as much cushioning as they were getting. I can still recommend these jars, though, and I would purchase them again, but in all likelihood, from another seller in the hope that I can get them all in one piece or at least get a response when feeding the issue back.

Very useful little jars and great value for the four. Stackable and easy to clean too. I use mine for dried herbal teas. The diamond style etching on the glass is a nice touch and looks so fancy. BALL is a long established MASON CANNING Jar company and the quality shines through.

Love these little pots for storing nuts and seeds and left over lemon juice etc. I know they’re meant for jam but I love these, I prefer as they don’t use plastic and I can wash in the dishwasher, the glass is thick and sturdy. Wish they did some where the lid doesn’t come in 2 parts with just a normal screw top.

I bought these to use in my sous vide to make cheesecakes and puddings and they work a treat. But of course you can also store other things in them in the conventional glass-jar sense. They freeze perfectly well - just don't overfill - and I use them for small quantity items such as egg white and citrus zest. But no you can't 'bake' in them.

Arrived well protected. These are just perfect for my hand mace Christmas gifts, going to put home made dried fruit and veg in them. They can add the dried fruit to their breakfast and the dried veg to their stews etc. Beautiful textured jars to make look personal special. Very good strong jars. Usually I buy another brand but I do like these Ball jars.

I found these to be of excellent quality. I use them to store my pipe tobacco and they are the perfect size for 50g.They are air tight and have excellent sealingWould definitely purchase these again without hesitation
