Must read of all economists
A digestible account about the timeline of economics and the key thinkers. I was impressed how most chapters ended with what a alot of economists forget about: the philosophy on how to improve the world. I would reccomend this to students and especially economists who have lost the path on the true meaning of the discipline.

Thoughtful, accessible, well written
This Little History of Economics is a very useful contribution, for those with knowledge of the subject as well as beginners. The subject benefits from more historical perspective, with each chapter suggesting thoughtful reflections from this unusual approach. This is also a good starting point for the uninitiated. The simplicity of presentation makes it easy to digest. Also I thought it looked and felt great. Not easy to address broad and complex subjects in a concise and direct way. Well done, highly recommended.

A GREAT/MUST LITTLE READ!!
I have always shied away from reading about Economics as it has always befuddled me and been a little 'over my head' but not so this GREAT LITTLE READ! I couldn't put it down - it is fascinating and it has now sparked and interest in the subject I never thought possible! It is so well written and easy to understand that I would willingly read again. I am now thinking of nurturing my interst further and enrolling onto an 'A' level Economics course. A MUST READ and one for the gift list!

A history and a manifesto - a compelling read
This book offers an introduction to a wide range of economic concepts from the earliest to the most recent, with a completely painless, economical writing style, and with concepts organised in a natural semi-historical order. The book demonstrates the continuing relevance and power of economics, but quite rightly invites an overdue reinvention of the subject.

A great introduction to economics
There is so much these days in the news about economics which mostly seemed to be beyond my comprehension that this book seemed worth a try. Th ideas unfolded and I found I couldn't put it down. A great book for anyone who is a comlete beginner.

Highly recommended.
This is an excellent book, very well written and informative. As a former A Level Economics teacher, I would recommend this as essential reading for any potential student of the subject.
