Charming and entertaining
This is a lovely, charming book. I bought it for my (almost) two year old and I'd say I have had as much, if not more, fun following the various stories. The illustrations are intricate, funny and colourful. This is a great idea for a book. At first I was a little disappointed that there were only 8 double-pages. However, there are so many stories that, if you count these separately, there is much more substance to the book than one might think at first glance. It's a clever idea and an inspiring one too. For an older child, trying to recreate their own version in a copybook (i.e. a series of pictures with stories for each character) would be an interesting exercise for example. I'm really happy with this purchase and I will look out for more titles by these creators.

I love it, he loves it, we all love it!
My three-year-old son adores this book. There are no words, but a selection of characters whose activities throughout the day can be followed from page to page as you hunt for them and then 'use your eyes' to tell the story of what they are getting up to. Different characters interact with each other as they bump into each other or their paths cross in the course of their journey. Follow old Mrs Full Wool as she wakes up, takes a walk through the park, then buys bread and rents a boat before heading to the lake to feed the swans (meeting up again with her parrot Ada whose own story can be followed as she attempts to lose a particularly attentive cat). My boy chooses this book every night time and will take it in turns with me to pick a character and tell their story page-by-page. Innovative, quirky and fun. Good for parents with a little imagination who are bored of repeating the same trite storylines and enjoy engaging in storytime past simply reciting words on a page.

Fantastic find
I don't usually write reviews but I've been recommending this book to anyone who will listen. As a huge fan of children's books and mum of a very distracted 2 year old, I've been hunting for a book like this. It's a perfect way to truly engage and tell stories to each other in your own words. It's great for a quick "can you find..." type activity or to take longer to follow one character throughout the whole book. It's beautifully illustrated too. I had already bought Richard Scarry and Where's Wally books in the hope of creating an interactive story type experience for the two of us and accidentally stumbled upon this. The other two don't even get a look in from my son. It's big and chunky but not babyish. I'll definitely be ordering the other titles for his birthday.

Great for storytelling
I bought this for a 2 year old on the recommendation of our daughter whose own toddler had been given it as a present. It has endless possibilities for storytelling even from a young age. The pictures are detailed and interesting, full of lively characters. The board construction means it will endure rough treatment.

A great story telling book with out words
I bought this book based on one I already had (picked up somewhere at a really good price) which is called Mamoko in the year 3000. This is the original I believe and isn’t quite as good but is still a lovely book which my children enjoy. Basically the first page includes lots of profiles of characters that are included in every page - a bit like where’s wally. You find your chosen character on each page and make up a story based on what it looks like they are doing. It’s quite sweet and some of the stories are quite obvious and some you have to use your imagination to figure out something that fits what these little characters are doing! This is a very good book for children in reception as part of the UK school curriculum is to understand what the story is rather than read by rote, but my 8 and 10 year olds still love it. I’d recommend the ‘Momoko in the year 3000 over this but this is almost as good.

1 and 4 year old both love this
1 year old loves the find the person/animal element. 4 year old now reads it themselves and if asked will tell the story of what is happening through the book. The way the narrative pieces together is great. There is a lot of entertainment here. The book is also pretty robust which is great given how much the little ones enjoying pawing through it themselves (and occasionally fighting over it).

Great creative book, something different
This is a second time I am buying this book for a gift after my son got it. Great way to develop their creativity as the book has only stories in pictures, no text. Characters are great as well. I recommend to everyone

Brilliant for young kids!
I bought it for my 5 year old son and he loves it. He is not a real chatterbox but with this book, he can make up a thousand and one stories! I think it's brilliant if you want your kids to tell you stories instead of you reading stories at bed time. Good buy and I would recommend it for young kids.

Fun and fascinating wordless book
This book is great for kids as young as 3-4 years old but can easily be a favorite for many more years. You choose a character in the beginning and follow their story (which you narrate on your own as the book has no words) over the course of the subsequent pages. In addition to the dozen or so characters whose stories you are invited to follow, there are other recurring characters across the pages in addition to out of place objects that you can seek out in each scene. Hours of entertainment (including independent "reading"). I also love how big and sturdy this book is -- I don't have to worry about my younger one accidentally ripping out pages.
