Ordered these for both myself and a friend to motivate us on our weight loss journey, ours both work fine with chalk so not sure if they have changed this since previous reviews stated they did not work, also marking down because it doesn't come with chalk...really?? it doesn't state it does and how much is a piece of chalk, the only slight critism or hint and tip is whilst it is described as plastic foam it also does state in description it's wood when it isn't so that if you don't read the small print is misleading but other than that sits on my fridge and looks good....

Such a good idea so I bought two for my mum and I to track out weight loss.

Ok so I didn't realize this wasn't wood my bad but £3.99 for a piece of foam board and cheap chalk board area that chalk can't write on and I am now going to have to buy and chalk pen .... Na don't waste your time wait a little longer in shipping to get a wood one ...or better yet If you can find some cheap chalk paint and scrap piece of wood some sandpaper and a drill make your own.

Bought as a gift for a friend who is looking for motivation in her healthy lifestyle choices. I loved how it just is the weight loss and target and you don’t write done your actual weight.

The item is damaged - clearly packaged that way too as it was packaged in a padded envelope. There are punch marks in the front and back. Also, be careful what you write on it, it states it is chalkboard but it is not! Once you write on it it does not rub off well so looks terrible already. Not worth it at all, and I can’t return it as it is not eligible.

Lovely item not too big and really motivational to see how far you’ve come, mine hangs in the kitchen and I find looking at that and seeing how well I’m doing and how well I want to do really spurs me on and discourages next from the naughty snacks!

Thought this would be helpful and fun whilst at a slimming club. The white chalk marker I used left marks. Its not like a chalk board at school. When wiped, writing does not completely disappear.

Cheaply made and the chalk won’t work on the board. However, a chalk pen will.Since purchasing this I’ve brought a better one from pound store which is wooden and looks 3 times better than this one.
