Hario Ceramic Coffee Drip Filter
I previously used a plastic 'fan-shaped coffee filter dripper', bought when on holiday in France, to make a quick cup of proper coffee. Trying to buy one of the plastic ones on the internet as a present for someone who said she couldn't be bothered to make real coffee in a machine, I came across these ceramic coffee drippers on Amazon. There are two sizes. No.1 is for a coffee cup, No. 2 equates to number four size, probably what most people buy for their coffee machines. The ceramic filter dripper is fantastic and really does make a difference to the taste. It is hardly relevant to using the product, I guess, but the Hario dripper came beautifully packaged and included a spoon for the grounds. Don't forget to order the relevant sized Hario filter papers. All in all a really useful purchase and one I heartily recommend.

Very happy with this
I use this when I have guests or if I want just a "regular" coffee. Very happy with it. Works great and makes great tasting coffee.

Best product for filter coffee at home
I love this cone. It's more expensive than the plastic version but it's so worth it. If you're a coffee freak like me, you'll appreciate that it better retains the water temperature which aids the quality of the extraction, aka makes the coffee tastes much better. If you like to get fancy, expensive, arabica, fair-trade, specialty unicorn, stardust, magic coffee, you might as well get the best gear to make the most of it.

Stylish but with problems
I really like the look of this filter device, I think it is very stylish. I have seen it placed on some tall glass receptacles.. But this does not look terribly steady to me. So I am using a squat double walled stainless steel teapot.I bought this because I read about some health issues associated with using a cafetiere (French press) so I will compare the functionality and results between the two different types of making coffee.Coffee from a cafetiere taste better. I think this is because the filter absorbs some of the oils from the coffee. This is these oils that may present some health problems but they taste good.Coffee in the cafeteria is hotter. Using the filter device I find that after the filter process even though it has gone into a pre-warmed double walled stainless steel receptacle, I have to heat the coffee in the pan as it is lukewarm. With cafeteria coffee you do not have the expense of the filter papers.I will continue to use this from time to time to reduce the intake of the coffee oil that can apparently cause a health problem. But for me the best coffee is still cafetiere coffee and I think it knocks the socks off every other type of coffee for both taste and convenience.

Plastic Free
I'm trying to cut down on my plastic use, so when I needed a V60, I plumped for this one despite James Hoffman's disapproval. It does take a little more 'warming' than a plastic one would, but that is relatively easily achieved by running it - and the filter paper - under the hot tap - or by using the surplus water which most people will already have in their kettle. It seems much more robust than plastic - and has a nice 'feel' to it.

Best Coffee Dripper
After several days of research I chose the Hario V60 because it has the reputation of making the best filter coffee. The dripper comes with user instructions but there are numerous websites on how to use it which I found very useful. Overall I am very pleased with the results and it is very easy to use. This is a genuine Hario product which is shipped directly from Japan. A nice touch is the Japanese seller includes an origami stork which is the national symbol of Japan. The stork is packed flat and needs to be carefully pulled open.

Very good!
I bought it for my sibling who likes it very much (I don't drink coffee)This is the V02 size which fits the current Hario coffee catcher underneath. Sibling did mention that this ceramic cup part is heavier than the plastic ones.
