This is perfect for reading books.The fat clip on it is firm but doesn't mark the pages. It also opens very wide to accommodate most books. It also stands well just rested on a desk.The bendy arm is robust and when moved into position it stays there.There isn't much difference between the 1 or 2 light options on it but both are adequate to shed light on your pages.And batteries so far have lasted for ages.All in all, a good little reliable easy to use lamp.

*Had to give 1 star in order to review*Dangerous! Read reviews before buying this thought it looked like a bargain. ..too cheap I’ll pay more and get a better one. Probably from a shop not amazon. I can only presume we got a faulty one. Didn’t work and the batteries when out in heated up immediately and they started smoking. No instructions in box. REALLY DO NOT BUY. This was for my sons bed, I dread to think what could have happned if I’d just shoved the batteries in and handed it over !!!

Its a flexible bendy led light with clamp. Also came with a USB power cable too.light is bright with two settings. 1 is perfect for reading without disturbing my mrs sleeping. 2 is bright. could easily be used ad a tourch.light weight, portable with a useful clamp sturdy on anything between 5mm and 25mm thick. i have it clamped to my window sill. Ive only had it a week, the batteries show no sign of abating... this id a LED so they should last a fair while.All in all, does exactly what it says and great value considering the price.

Impressed with quality, a little heavier than my last one (different make) I’d have preferred a bit lighter ( excuse the pun) but it isn’t a problem, it can be powered by usb or batteries has a double switch incase you find one level of light too bright/dark which is very good. It will be perfect for hotel rooms where side lights are invariably too dark, shall be using this weekend so any different will edit my comment. Impressed so far.

This is a great edition to my kindle.I was finding that I wanted to read everytime my partner was asleep but didnt want to but a kindle white as there is nothing wrong with my kindle.I bought this and find it good as it has 2 different settings. So one lamp can come.on or 2, which makes it brighter if needed.

This says it has a USB charger but you cannot charge it up and use it which may be my misunderstanding of the description hence 1 star less. You can only use the USB while plugged in. It is good for my kindle with batteries in though. Easy to clip on and has 2 light settings. Exactly what I needed.

I used this for the first time today, I clipped it to my document holder & powered it from my Computer's USB socket.I'm very, very, impressed :)It gives a bright & even light, small print on my document was easily legible in an otherwise dimly lit room.Excellent value for money :)

This tiny light is great and very bright. There are 2 led bulbs and you can use 1 or 2 lights at a time I have used it on my kindle at night and it's great, I have also used it on my cross stitch which really helps in an evening, as I don't like to have the main lights on.This is a great quality, extremely useful light.I highly recommend this product.
