Is this product good for cold sores?

Lysine is the amino acid that stops the herpes simplex viruses dead in their tracks. You need 6g of lysine plus 50mg zinc gluconate (must be gluconate) at the first sign of a cold-sore, or HSV2, coming. 6g stops the virus dead in its tracks. Zinc boosts the immune system. If you’ve already broken out, the same dose, every day until it’s gone, works very well. Obv better to stop it at the first tingle. The zinc helps heal damaged skin. Then 1-2g lysine a day as a maintenance dose, but the poster who said one 1g in the morning and 1g later in the day to get rid of an attack is misinformed. 2g won’t stop an attack from breaking through if it’s already giving you warning signs. It’s 6g to get rid of, or stop, an attack of herpes, whether it’s cold-sores or the other type. 1-2g a day as a maintenance dose, 6g a day (in one dose) to kill it off. By the way, arginine is the amino acid that triggers herpes attacks. Arginine in high in nuts and chocolate (or some supplements). Lysine, which does the opposite, is high in fish. So, of you’re about to have an attack, or are already having one, avoid taking any arginine in supplements, avoid nuts and chocolate, and start eating more fish. Hope this helps people.
