Considering the cost of other known brand names, it was the price that attracted me to this Hyundai. And I'm not disappointed.The generator is delivered drained of fluids, so will need fuel and oil adding before even attempting a start. It isn't supplied with oil, so ensure you have some 10W-40 ready for it. Capacity is a tiny 0.25l (250ml) from empty. It is also supplied with a 12V battery charging lead you can connect to the output panel, a little oil bottle, manual and a screwdriver.I spent the next 40 minutes swearing under my breath as I could not get the thing to start. Turns out, it was operator error so I feel I must point out the main power switch (the rotary knob in the picture) was a little finicky. Make sure you turn it to the 'on' position firmly. If it doesn't click when you've turned it firmly, it won't start. In my case, it was in the correct position, but I hadn't been firm enough with it. I'm sure it will improve with use.It's quiet enough in use (not Honda quiet, but also not Honda price), and at the end of a cable, it won't bother anyone. The two speeds are a useful feature. In low RPM mode, it will speed up if output demands it. You also have the option of running it at high RPM constantly.In all, a great little generator. Small, light enough to carry, and decent output. At this price, it's a great buy.

A really nice generator that starts easily (remote or key) and runs quietly. Output is steady and I have tried it with electronic kit (computers etc.) and had no issues. You need to buy a length of earth cable to ground the generator for safety and fill the motor with oil (not provided). The starter battery arrives disconnected in the machine so needs connecting (push fit cable connectors). The 2 x 13amp sockets are great for home use or for camping/caravan. The handle and wheels make it easy to move around and the whole thing can be picked up by one person if necessary. Looks good too and the display is easy to read. Comes with 2 remotes and 2 keys for start/stop

We bought this for a camping trip. It won't start using the electric start system and when used the hand start it ran but didn't produce electricity.

Once we figured out that the battery was not connected I aam happy with the product . Silent and very easy to start . If you have trouble starting the 4000w generator , check to see if battery is connected if you don;t see the led display light up when you turn the key to Start

Bought the generator to assist with off grid living through winter months. Have used to power a small 800w Oven and it works fine. But mostly I use to charge Batteries for the solar bank when there's not much sun. Just fill up with Petrol and leave running. Has worked very well. Not Silent running but no loader than a Petrol lawn mower.

Never missed a beat in nearly 4 years!!!We used this as a workhorse & it’s not missed a beat in 732 hours of use!!!Powering our race van & the race awning it’s had a hard life & the only thing that’s broke in that time is the on/off switch so now we have to choke it out to turn it off.Quite incredible, even more so is at 732 hours it’s had 1 oil change & I’ve just changed the spark plug !!!!Which compelled me to write this review.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Cant recommend this generator enough

I needed this for my narrowboat having moved mooring to a pontoon without mains supply. I was honestly surprised by the quietness of this when running. When I'm.on the boat I can barely hear this outside when powering up the boat. Very economical to run and comes with all you need I.e oil, tools, handbook etc. I can't recommend highly enough. I have used this to run power tools, all facilities on a boat I.e lights, sockets, TV,fridge and all without an issue. It even comes with cables to connect to a 12 volt battery to charge directly. One thing I found was the smoothness of the pull chord.requires so little effort to start and does so 1st time, every time.

So this item is sold by Gen Power who have a licence to use the word 'Hyundai Power Products' so the brand Hyundai as we know it does not make these products. They are Chinese products re-branded. Which is not much an issue, if they are working well, supported and reliable.I had two, the first one which had a faulty electric starter, so it was returned and replaced with another one.I had the second unit for a few months, during which I had issues with the electric starter. Sometimes it worked, sometimes, it did not work.I sent the video of the images to Hyundai Power Products who are actually Gen Power, they did do their best to support the issue, but I stopped working with them.Then one day it did not work and the backup did not work. It was sold by Amazon and non in stock which was a blessing which means. I bought Champion Power 73001i-P to replace this product.The moment the Champion Power 73001i-P starts, you can hear the night and day between this Hyundai it starts so well and sounds really good.The only reason I bought the Hyundai machine is because its backed by Amazon returns should it fail. The Champion Power 73001i-P was not bought by Amazon, that's the risk. So support would not be so quick..Anyway good luck if you buy this machine, I certainly would not rely on this for a camping trip!
