I should have taken note of the reviews that said the tap leaked. Over the course of an evening I kept tightening mine up slowly and it kept leaking. In the end I tightened it so much the silicone gasket was shearing and I ran the risk of breaking the glass - and it still had a slow leak. I've plumbed in bathrooms and radiators with less bother.

Easy to refill the container, great size and beautiful on counter for catering event; but tap (not metal) leaks even when properly fitted and will have to find a stainless steel as recommended by other reviewers.

Nice retro look and does the job well. I use mine to hold diet coke syrup ready for using with the Soda Stream but it would be nice to use at parties too.

I received this package about 2 weeks ago and decided to use it today..it has a small scratch but that's not a big problem what I am not happy about is the tap - Low quality Plastic tap with water leaking from tap and the ring and no idea how to fix it.Not happy :(

great for my Kombucha project ;)maybe too big for this but will be a great support for my next project: elderflower!
