Good looking and sturdy

Lightweight but strong. Smooth easy to clean surface and generous space in the bowl.I bought this to replace the plastic bowls in my mothers kitchen. Her and my Grandfather use the plastic bowls and plates as they are light. With their joint issues and arthritis it can be difficult to hold the heavier plates.The only problem with plastic is that the surface eventually gets scratched away and allows a lot of dirt to sit inside it. It also is not as easy to clean and stains very easily and gets discoloured quickly.I bought these corelle bowls as they are lightweight, don't stain and are easy to clean. My mother and grandfather are much happier with it and have even requested that I look into other plates/cups/etc that are like this.

I have recently developed arthritis in both thumbs and to a lesser extent in my whole hands. My current plates, which were not particularly heavy, were still too heavy for me, not only when carrying them but also when washing them up (I haven't got a dishwasher) and turning them over to rinse the backs. I am also a very slow eater, but like hot food, so often microwave my food half way through. Without the microwave bit I would have probably gone for melamine - cheap, cheerful and light, but not microwaveable. I had been thinking of pyrex plates, but really they aren't that light, then, after much research, found these. You can buy whole dinner sets quite easily (even in Argos) but I only needed the dinner plates. All my other crockery is plain white and being smaller than a dinner plate, and not used daily, is quite sufficient. The Corelle plates match in quite well. Also many of the "sets" come with mugs and closer inspection reveals the mugs are earthenware not the glass used for the plates. I have enough mugs to last a lifetime and use only bone china ones for myself. Anyway, the plates arrived today (a day early) and are as light as a feather - I can't wait to use them.

These bowls are fantastic. They stack beautifully, being so thin yet feel really strong - I haven't tried throwing them on the floor but they don't feel as though they would break easily. The don't seem to chip at all and they go through the dishwasher and come out good as new. Fine in the microwave also. I will definitely be buying other products from them - so pleased with these.

Items were delivered on-time and is good condition - no broken or chipped bowls. Gave them a quick clean than in the dishwasher and ready to use.

I have bought 2 sets of this few months ago at original price...I was so happy, its thin, light weight and simple design means easy to clean. It saves a lot of space in our small dishwasher and in the cupboard too. So I bought again another set, so i can set aside our denby plate which I love too but are bulky. Now we got a total of 18plates to keep us going for few days without turning on the diswasher ofter.

I absolutely love this dinnerware. It is lightweight, strong, durable and takes up very little space in my cupboard. It is also chip resistant. Highly recommend!!

Very plain and simple (so much to my taste) also lightweight. They have every appearance of being most durable too, and if they last as well as certain Vitrelle dishes I own then they will comfortably outlive me.A considerable help knowing that a plate is safely usable not only on the table, but also in the oven or the freezer, and will still look just as good.

I love the size and shape of these little bowls. They are perfect for dividing out spices for a recipe or holding snacks. I use them every day and highly recommend them.

I already had six of them , they’re so useful for so many different foods. Can’t get enough of them, I ordered another set😁. They don’t take up any room cuz they’re so thin but don’t break and they rinse off with no effort at all. I now have 12 of them for 2 people cuz I use them for everything.

Received these bowls as a gift. Opened the box to find the wrong bowls had been sent. There was a barcode/sticker that had been put on the box at the warehouse with the wrong item name on it so I think it was an honest mistake. Sent them back & reordered.Second order came with correct bowls but one had a chip on the rim. Have never seen chipped Corelle before but I assume it was due to how the bowls were packaged for transit. Contacted Instant Brands customer service, they are very efficient & easy to deal with. Sent proof of purchase & pic of damaged bowl, they issued a replacement for the damaged one & shipped it to me. It arrived about a week later in pristine condition.I got these to complement my existing Old Town Blue dish set as that pattern has been discontinued. These bowls are great for soup, stew, salads and other “bowl” meals like curry, etc.. Corelle is lightweight and durable, grew up using it in my mom/granny’s homes and have had mine since I bought my home. Very satisfied with these bowls.
