I had to locate a stud behind a drywall. I tried to locate it with a strong magnet (N52), but in vain, I couldn't do it with the magnet, the stud was too deep. That's why I decided to purchase an electronic stud detector. I was looking for a cheap but high quality detector, and I found this detector on Amazon. Although there was only one review of it, I decided to take a risk (I was tempted by the low price) and purchase it. Happily, I discovered that this detector is an excellent detector that met my expectations, and even more... The detector was able to easily locate the stud behind the drywall. It is very important to calibrate the detector before each scan, otherwise you get random results. I highly recommend this stud finder. Important note: the detector is very effective in locating studs, metal pipes, power lines - only behind plaster or wooden walls. It is not effective at all for locating the above behind concrete walls, blocks, bricks!!! So if you have concrete, brick or block walls - don't buy this type of detector! Thank you very much!
