Very useful
Got this to clean up the contacts on some battery contacts on Christmas lights and ornaments. Worked really well. So much easier than using little bits of sandpaper or tiny files.

Cheap & Cheerful, but do a job
A tad cheap and cheerful, these small glass fibre brushes do a reasonable job.I find them useful for cleaning and preparing chips in car paintwork - before using touch up primer and paint. The ends do tend to unscrew themselves a bit too easily, which is annoying. That said, they are very good value for money and handy to have.

Disappointing
I’ve used these items before for cleaning up PCB’s prior to soldering and also removing oxidisation from metal parts and have never had any issues but this item is really poor. The “fibre glass” isn’t like any of the other fibreglass pencils I’ve used before, this feels really soft and is more like a brush. It’s been okay for dusting small crevices, but has absolutely no body to it for removing oxidisation or pitting. I’ve also looked at changing the fibreglass as I do have some spares from a previous pencil but the fibre appears to be glued to the internals and I’m afraid that replacing the “guts” is going to be impossible without cracking the internal mechanism. Really is a shame as I was quite happy with the speed of the delivery.
