May take more than one attempt
I had a wart type growth on my forehead which I first thought was a pimple which wouldn't go away but then realised that there was more substance to it and concluded that it was a wart. I asked my doctor to look at it when I attended the surgery for another unrelated matter and he was dismissive - it wasn't anything for me to worry about. However, after two years of it crusting over and never properly healing, my picking at it and the cycle starting again I thought I'd give this a try. It says not to use it on the head but I think they are covering their a*ses in case of discolouration after treatment. Anyway, first attempt caused a scab to form. The growth fell off but returned a week later. Second attempt the same. Third attempt I gave it five seconds more spray and bingo, it scabbed over and didn't come back. There is absolutely no evidence of where the growth had been. Recommended.

Good for easily penetrated or softened skin
I had both success and failure with this product. Firstly it's far easier to use than a previous applicator I tried from Boots, which required little sponge pellets to soak up the liquid prior to applying to the skin. This is much simpler and worked brilliantly on removing a wart from my hand. Where it failed, however, was on attempting to remove a verruca from the bottom of my foot - because the verruca was hardened and the skin had become tough by walking on it all the time the freezing action wasn't able to penetrate the skin sufficiently to freeze the affected area. Even after filing the skin down when softened this still didn't seem to have the desired effect. I've since used a product called 'Wartner' on the same area with almost immediate success. So I'd say that the reason this product has such mixed reviews is that the success of the application depends on how well the freezing action can penetrate the wart- / verruca-affected area - if the skin is very hard it's likely to fail.

Worked well combined with bazuca
Worked well, but we did combine it with bazuca treatment 1st. We used to separate treatments on both my husband and son and it was able to remove the last of the roots with ease.

I WASTED £30.00 FOR 3 CONTAINERS, AND IT DID NOT REMOVE A SINGLE WART
Sorry to say, but I did not find this product to be of much use when I applied it to warts. Having purchased three of them (£30.00 minus a few pennies ) I found them to be a complete waste of money, and very expensive at that. I meticulously followed the instructions on how to useact - freeze. Acti-freeze is a small tube with a pump action fitting on the end, which when applied to the wart and pumped 3 times, the recommended number of times per wart, emits the correct measure of nitrogen ( a freezing cold burning feeling, similar in my opinion to that of touching dry ice ) . It is suggested that the wart is then left for 10 - 14 days, allowing the treatment to take effect; the result supposedly being that the wart will die and drop off. It is further suggested that if the first treatment dos not work, then to repeat it gain. The small aerosol type of container is supposed to be sufficient for 15 applications. I have spent £30.00 on three containers, and it has failed to work for me.

It works, if you follow the instructions.
It works, you just have to actually follow the instructions.1: Keep the can UPRIGHT, with the business end pointing DOWN. Using it at any other angle will not work. If it's a verruca use it standing on your head, or get someone else to use it, while you stand on your head. ;)2. WAIT! WAIT! Do the three squirts, then watch. There will be some clear liquid in the applicator over the growth, bubbling (boiling) away. Wait for it ALL to boil away. Squirting then removing the applicator after a second or two will achieve nothing - the liquid will evaporate instantly and freeze nothing. The stuff is Dimethyl ether, which boils at -24 centigrade. You need to keep it over the growth as it boils, freezing the growth. One treatment successful removed 2 warts from the back of my right hand, and a further 2 from the side of my right foot that were very irritating as the rubbed on my sock/shoe as I walked.
I'd carefully researched the different premium brand freezing solutions - read all the reviews, etc. After all, you're freezing part of your flesh!I chose this product as it had far better reviews than the others.Over the period of several weeks, I tried this product 5 times. Carefully following the instructions, using the right amount of dosing, keeping it upright, holding it on for the right period of time, etc.It has literally done *nothing*. There wasn't even any affect to my skin.On the final attempt, I actually gave it 6 squirts (way more than the instructions stated) AND held it on for a good 30 seconds - way more than you're meant to. I had considered I could end up with a bad freeze-burn, but as it hadn't DONE ANYTHING so far, I thought it was worth a try.Again, amazingly, nothing.I'm highly doubtful that it's my *skin* that's resistant to very cold liquids. It's far more likely this product is useless. For reference, my issue is on my foot. The skin is normal (nor hard) and it's tiny, about 0.3mm in size. By rights, this stuff should have nuked it - and the healthy skin too.

... yet to say if the wart has gone for good because time will tell but I'm on my second ...
I have yet to say if the wart has gone for good because time will tell but I'm on my second purchase of this product and the wart the size of a pea on my palm appears to have now gone. I used this product once a day, sometimes twice to be honest, and then covered the wart with a plaster. Where not painful I was also able to cut parts of it off before applying this product which may or may not have helped it penetrate deeper. This is the best wart treatment I have tried so far having also tried, bazuka, banana peel, tea tree and corn plasters on the same wart previously. It says use only one canister but I am using what is left of a second because I guess that's what the wart needed. Very easy to apply and not unpleasant. A tiny tingling sensation was felt occasionally with application but it wasn't really unpleasant.
