I bought this for a eye dryness issue . I normally use the microwave one with the silica beads but didn't wanna keep going to the microwave. Thought this would be great as it generated heat. Too bad it dried my eyes out.Read later that the silica beads took in moisture from the air as it microwaves. This one is dry heat unless you spray it with water all the time. In the end it wasn't worth it for me and I went back to the microwave. Too bad, I would've liked this for the ease of us.

Very uncomfortable on the nose. Lite comes through the bottom and after 10 minutes you want to take them off. Smell is great for 1 day and after that you don't even notice it.

I've suffered with dry eye disease for a couple of years, which seems to be exacerbated by pollens, dust, and other allergens. I recently saw my eye doctor, who told me that I wasn't using compresses that were hot enough or holding them on for long enough. She recommended that I get one that was microwavable and keep it very hot by zapping it a few times over a 20-30 minute period. She told me that the hotter temp and longer period were necessary in order to melt the gunk that was clogging my Meibomian glands. And she wanted me to do that twice per day. After thinking about it all, and admitting to myself that I would never do all that, I decided to see what Amazon had to offer. After using this mask for the past month, I am happy to report that my dry eye has almost completely gone away!! I have kept it plugged in and on the side table next to the place I sit and watch TV. So, it's been super convenient to set it on high and just listen to a favorite TV show while i'm using it for 30 minutes. It has an automatic timer on it, so it shuts itself off after a half hour, which is great in case you fall asleep. My only critique of this model is that it would be great to have one that was wireless, or even one that has a much longer wire. It's a bit limiting to not be able to rest in a different position, which wireless or a longer cord would solve. Last night, a huge thunderstorm with a lot of lightening rolled in while I was using it, and of course I had to stop. Wireless would be useful in that case too. Finally, if you happen to fall asleep while using it, the wireless feature or a longer cord would be helpful. I bought two different kinds, and this turned out to be the better of the two. The other one arrived damaged, so I'm returning it and buying a second one of these, so I can keep one plugged in in the living room and one in the bedroom. If you suffer from dry eye, this will feel so goooood to you!!! Buy it today!!! Oh, I should add: I started using this during ragweed season, and I got the added bonus of it melting and draining gunk that was clogging my sinuses and ears too!!! I highly recommend it to anyone suffering with seasonal allergies too!!

The amount of heat this produces is not nearly enough to make a useful difference in treating dry eyes, in my opinion. It gets basically slightly warm...If you're going to just use it as a mask to black out the room, it's probably fine.

Being tethered to the cord is awkward and unforgiving in the event you turn in your sleep.I voiced my concerns and was issued a refund. One additional star given for good customer service. Product is still disappointing and cannot deliver more stars. Overall, the product was unable to meet my expectations.

This is great. I appreciate the eye shape because I get my lashes done and didn’t want to compromise their integrity. I wish the cord was longer but if you have a plug near your bed, while you’re lounging you can plug it in. It plugs into a usb. It takes about 7-10 mins to heat up. I’ve noticed a difference in my under eye puffiness, that of which product doesn’t help with. It’s relaxing and encourages great stimulation around your eyes. (For anyone that also has lash extensions, The heat does not affect lashes)

First my package was delayed for about a week and a half. Once I finally got my eye mask it appeared as if I was sent an previously opened packed. It had no cored and no scent disk. Needless to say I returned it and purchased another product.

I use his mask as I was getting migraines. It helps clock out all the light and let you relax.
