Do these stay fresh once opened?

Like with all moist things left unopened, it will dry out after time ! Once opened just pop it into say a clear resealable plastic sandwich bag and it will be fine !

I have these (seeds and cuttings) on a heated mat. They dry out really quick. What can i do?

HI THIS IS CHRIS FROM HIGHSTREETHYDO I THINK YOU MIGHT NEED A PROPAGATOR WITH A LID OR YOU COULD TRY AND RAISE THE TRAY OF THE HEAT MAT TO GIVE IT A LITTLE SPACE FOR THE HEAT TO CIRCULATE ,YOU DONT WANT SEEDS TO COOK OR BE TO HOT OTHERWISE YOU COULD SOAK THE PLUGS FOR A FEW MINUTES SO THEY ABSORB WATER BUT THEY SHOULDN'T DRY OUT IN THE RIGHT TEMP QUICKLY UNLESS THEY ARE TO HOT HOPE THIS HELPS CHRIS HIGHSTREETHYDRO
