Really impressed
I highly recommend this cross trainer for general purpose home use, its great. Easily converts for a beginner and is heavy duty enough for a real good workout for most people other than real hard core. I have used it for at least an hour every day for the past week and I love it. I have it on a moderate setting as I prefer to watch a programme/film and excercise for longer but you could easily dial it up and do short sharp bursts with much more resistance. great for Tabata type trainingI keep it in the conservatory as it's very neat (you can easily take of the handles if you wanted). This gives me the ability to hop on whenever I choose without having to get it out all the time and the best thing is a get to watch my programmes whilst i'm doing it, I have a teenager and husband in the house!!! enough said.It is not too heavy and has a little wheel on the front if you did choose to move it around. I would recommend taking the handles of (two second job)if you are moving it as they are quite long.It was reasonably easy to out together, just ensure you follow the instructions carefully. also one point to note, the bars that join the pedals to the handles pivot and turn at two points, just ensure you have them the right way and that they are moving freely. When I first hopped on it I had set the handles lower as I'm 5ft 3 but actually found they were better set higher, its also feels a bit strange as you feel a bit pushed forward at first but you easliy adjust. I would recommend you wear trainers as it does require proper footware.I have previously been a gym member and just could not get the time to go regularly. Although this is not a heavy duty gym machine its suprisingly good and superb value for money. plus the great thing about it is you can fit it in whenever you want. I have previously owned a strider but it was so big and cumbersome it never came out of the under stairs cupboard.Overall one of my best buys for a long while and i feel gooooooooood.

Great value for money
I have had this cross trainer since December 2012. For the first year, I used it daily for either up to an hour's steady-state cardio, or 20 minutes of interval training. It was great and I never had an issue with it. After that, I joined a gym and so my usage dropped to maybe ten times a month. In the last month, however, I have started to use it in addition to going to the gym. I use it every single day for at least 20km. So it has had a fair amount of usage.I have to say, I am very pleased with it. I find it stable and it has a good range of resistance. The display is basic but enough to be able to set yourself goals. It uses very little in the way of battery power, and I haven't had to replace the originals that I put in when I got the machine.OK, it's not silent, but I always run with headphones in, so that doesn't bother me. If I try to watch the TV, which I have in the past, I have to turn it up really loud, so I would suggest getting some sort of wireless headphone set-up if you wanted to do this. Personally, I like to workout to episodes of The Biggest Loser, which I watch on my iPhone through Bluetooth headphones :)I've had to tighten the nuts and bolts a few of times, but I would expect that with all the moving parts anyway. A couple of months in, I also had an intermittent clicking sound, but I assume this was something caught in the mechanism somewhere, as it eventually righted itself and hasn't recurred.Size-wise, it is great. A fraction of the size of some of the more advanced cross trainers, and relatively easily manoeuvrable. You wouldn't want to be moving it every time you used it, but it's easy enough to move from one room to another on occasion.Overall, I would say I am mightily pleased with this machine. For the price, I am amazed it has lasted as long as it has. It still feels like it did the day I bought it. For anyone looking for an entry-level machine to burn a load of calories at home, I would highly recommend it.

Body Sculpture Cross Trainer
Bought this product about 6 months ago and have had plenty use out of it, probably an average of 3 × 60 minutes per week and it's still going strong.Decent enough equipment for the price, relatively easy to assemble however the right handle/arm continually popped out so I drilled through the bars to bolt it together, problem solved! The monitor hasn't worked since it arrived however it's easy enough to time yourself with having to worry about it.You get what you pay for and for this price I don't mind putting up with a couple of minor issues, no complaints here.

Meh.
Well to be fair, I did really like it; it worked fantastically, did the job and was fine for what I wanted. Other mild problems would have probable been ignored as they were minor. The major issue I have, however, renders the machine unusable.I cannot use the machine for any period of time without the chain falling off, and removing the chassis to reattach the chain is around 30 minute job. I'm not sure whether I got a faulty one or what ever, but the wheel of the trainer appears to be not centred correctly resulting in a slack chain and the wheel damaging the chassis. It was a good machine, while it worked, which is why it is 2 stars and not 1.Other issues, but negligible nags, I found were that it did take a while to assemble and the instructions could have been clearer - the inclusion of multiple tasks per step was not that clear, but just a nag, and the machine didn't feel overly sturdy, moved - "bounced" - around a lot whilst I was using.Overall, good product, but I had a problem which rendered it unusable after less than 2 weeks.
