Having sensitive skin and being pale come early warmer months want a little bit of a tan for when wearing short sleeves etc. Have even used it on my face and again no nasty reactions to it.Tried some of this and was impressed, be warned though a little does go a long way. The pump action bottle is just right as the lotion comes out easily, only thing I find is that I can not get it to close up properly again, so lives in a plastic freezer bag now in bathroom.I applied mind after a bath and it smelt just like the body lotion but without the tanning bit, easy to apply. Just remember to wash hands between fingers if not using a mit or gloves though as this lotion does leave marks next morning if not washed off beforehand.Next morning I woke up tanned, son looked and asked where had I been overnight as tanned. So it does tan and you do get noticed with it, even OH commented on the tan effect but in a good way. The best thing is though this lotion keeps your skin nice and soft too whilst also giving it a nice tan and a natural looking one too.Only thing I will say is that when I applied it was thinking thank god none of that horrible biscuity tanning smell. However when my body began to get a little warmer in the evening (during the night) I awoke to that smell. So hence just the four stars as thought that smell would not be there.For the price and have tried various ones out in the past from expensive to cheaper ones, this has to be the best even if there is still a biscuit smell, though not as strong as most.

It doesn't smell too bad, but a little sickly. Kindof gross to use before bed, the smell just is more noticable somehow for me.I am as pale as a reanimated corpse generally and after one application I can't say I noticed a difference- which is good because I didn't intend it to be obvious, so a gradual build is ideal.A second application the next day was probably enough to just put a little life in my face, and day 3 looked like I had even seen some sunshine.I tend to leave it there until it fades over the following days then start again.The only thing I have found to look out for is that it is easy to not work it in fully when it meets your hairline which leads to an orangey bit there. So make sure it is well rubbed in and maybe start with a tiny blob like 2 peas for face and dot it about with your finger first to make sure you rub it in evenly.I'm definitely getting value for money out of it because I'm using so sparingly.

This is massively over priced compared to the shops, but I needed it in a hurry. I love this stuff! I've used a different well known brand for years but I'm now converted to this one, I've knocked a couple of stars off for the ridiculous price, but equally well say that it's the quickest gradual tanner I've ever used.

Thought I would give this a try as I don't get much time for sitting out in the sun these days and often look a bit peeky. Didn't tell my husband straight away - thought I would give it a go and see what the results were like. It does have a scent that is long lasting and not unpleasant. I tried it on my face initially, but used my moisturiser first to stop any blotching. It worked well taking a few hours to take effect. After a few days I asked my husband if I looked like I had been sunbathing. He said he had definitely thought I had a much better colour to my face and It looked super! That is all I needed to hear! I have used it on my arms and it worked brilliantly there too. You do need to keep reapplying though as it "fades" quite quickly. Used daily with your daily make up routine would keep the tan going perfectly!!! Good product and will keep using it! Quick delivery and well packaged. great price.

I have probably used about 30 different self tanning products and I consider myself an expert of the orange brigade. I look for 3 things when using self tanner:1. it doesn't make me look like the love child of a wotsit and an umpa lumpa2. it doesn't make me smell of ham and biscuits.3. it doesn't cost more than a 6 month holiday to the Caribbean, where I could actually get a real tan.This self tanner ticks all 3 boxes and has the added bonus of making my skin soft. it smells like chocolate and once developed leaves me with a lovely natural looking glow that lasts for about 2 to 3 showers/ baths. The colour is medium so if you are pale id recommend mixing with another moisturizer to dilute it abit. I dont really see the purpose of the pump action lid unless you want body builder arms as, with all self tanners, you have to douse yourself in it to prevent streaks but apart from that it really is an amazing product and Im hard to please.
