Good quality, beginner-friendly air-dry clay
Good quality air-dry clay. Easy to work with. Drys pretty quickly, which is good when you're drying the final product; however, it can get dry quite quickly when working with it, so you do have to be pretty quick when handling the clay. Other than that, it makes very durable charms which haven't cracked or broken yet. Easy to sand and paint on. Good for beginners.

Fantastic
Excellent soft and smooth as it should be easier to work with than the terracotta. Best Brand fantastic price.

Really easy to paint on without base coat
This clay is amazing, it’s great quality and really smooth to work with it didn’t dry out for months I stored it in an air tight zip lock bag and it stayed silky smooth. This is the second time buying this and it gives you quite a big chuck of clay and it dries quite quickly it you can dry it the oven however it makes the bottom go bubbly but you can sand it out

Paper based clay that is great for kids
This clay is not what i was expecting, but worked quite well in the end. There is no indication as to what the product is on the packaging and after searching online its still not perfectly clear. I was expecting some sort of strong smelling plastic based clay after reading some of the reviews, but its actually paper based and has no strong smell to it in my opinion. The price initially seemed great, but when you consider its mostly mushed paper, its not quite as good value as i first thought. The clay is quite hard to shape as the paper base seems to have some squishiness to it and it doesn't handle the same as a real clay would. Saying that, it is possible to create some fairly detailed sculptures with some time and patience. Adding more water helps to keep it pliable and helps with finer details. One benefit over other clays is that once it is dry you can file, sand and drill it. You can also wet it again and smooth over with your finger to get a smooth surface. I found painting on a watered down layer of PVA helped to seal the surface, so it would take paint a lot better. It does take a while to dry if you make thicker objects. Around 24h per CM of thickness according to some hobby sites and I'd say that was correct. Thicker projects will feel spongy and smooth after 24h and 48h it'll feel fully dry and hard, but the inside will still be soft and handling too roughly will crack the outer layer as I found out the hard way. Give it longer to be safe. If you do break it, you can mend it using some watered down clay to make a slurry and use it like a glue. Adding more clay after it has dried can also be done using the slurry, or just wetting the surface until it becomes sticky, then new clay will stick to it. I did read that using a fan or heat to speed up drying will cause cracks, but this wasn't the case for me in my testing with a few pieces. I put them behind my computers exhaust fan, which blows out warm air. The pieces dried faster and I didn't get any cracking. This was great for adding extra details after and being able to then sand them etc. Overall its an interesting medium that would be ideal for kids to play with and make some cool projects. Its a lot cheaper and easier than real clay as it doesn't need to be fired in a kiln, but being paper it means you can't use it for anything that would encounter moisture, which limits its uses somewhat. The long drying times could also be a major downside for some. I think the polymer clays could be a happy medium, but they're also a lot more expensive than this clay.

Great Clay
Works like magic... I bought this after some clay projects of mine using a different clay crumbled and cracked. The pieces I build are all highly detailed and prone to breakage so require a good clay. I bought this in the hopes of rebuilding them and smoothing the cracks... It was certainly worth it, it dried very quickly, is strong, and has saved multiple projects, they went from crumbling messes to strong sculptures that are now ready to paint within a matter of hours plus the new models I have built from it have not cracked at all. It's a little denser and harder to mold than your average air dry clay and I don't know what it's made of, it's not quite so easy to work with, though still soft enough to be malleable it requires a little patience, but whatever this formula is - it's another breed of clay entirely!!! One benefit over other clays is that once it is dry you can file, sand and drill it. You can also wet it again and smooth over with your finger to get a smooth surface. Nicer than other cheap brands
This is my favorite air dry clay. I used to use the hobby craft own brand and once I tried this, there was absolutely no going back. It's like chalk and cheese. Honestly, this stuff is so much better. It's stronger. It's easier to use. It's easier to sand. It doesn't have any gritty texture. It's just very smooth being a paper-based clay and the things that you make with it are pretty strong. It also does not shrink much when it dries as long as you don't use an egregious amount of water so you get very little cracking. And this is my favorite now.

Excellent Air-Dry Clay for Crafts and Kids
I’ve been using this clay for my own creations as well as letting the kids have fun with it, and it’s been great for both. The 1 kg size is generous and lasts a long time, making it good value. The clay has a nice consistency and isn’t overly sticky, making it easy to shape. One thing I found is that it dries faster than expected, so I recommend keeping any unused clay in a zip-lock bag to stop it drying out. I also like to keep a damp sponge nearby and lightly wet the surface while working with it, which makes it much easier to smooth and shape. Once dry, it feels durable and holds its shape well. The white colour is perfect if you plan to paint your finished pieces. It’s also suitable for kids, although younger children may need a little help because of the quick drying time. Overall, it’s a reliable air-dry clay that I would happily buy again.

Great clay for art projects.
I love this. It is white and dries quickly. It is easy for adults and children to use. It can be a tiny bit sticky when you first open it but when you start rolling it this stops and it comes of your hands easily. Amazong value for money and because it is smaller packs or fits easily on drawers and doesn't dry out before you finish it. You need about 3 packs for a class of 30 to make a decoration each

My favorite clay
This is my go-to clay for branches and vines. It requires water to shape but works beautifully. It sticks well to just about any surface. Takes about 12 hours to fully harden so it allows you ample time to sculpt and mold. It’s easy to clean up just takes a soapy sponge. It’s so much fun to work with! It works well for molds and can be easily sculpted with tools. I prime with Gesso prior to painting and Find that gives the best results. Store it in a ziplock bag with a wet paper towel to keep moist.

Super Modelliermasse

They use this brand in my son ‘s schools, so we ordered it online. It arrived quickly, and since we know its quality, there’s no problem.
