Purchased for a 6-year-old's birthday. It kept several young children (and a couple of adults!) occupied most of an afternoon. A particular attraction was that from the relatively small and simple components it's possible to make large structures - even reaching the ceiling. The only down side is that the connectors are quite small and can easily get lost under furniture etc. They could also be a choking hazard to any toddlers who may be around. The kit comes in one sturdy plastic box with a locking lid, but there are no separate compartments for different components, so it's worth adding a couple of small containers to hold the connectors. It remains to be seen how durable the straws will be with frequent assembly and dismantling. Overall, a simple toy that allows young children to be creative and use their imagination, with rewarding results.

As a adult, I enjoyed this as much as my 4 year old daughter!!! It makes creativity come to life! I was proud of the massive den I made!

These straws are brilliant! My daughter (aged 6) has played with them for hours and made some huge constructions with them. There are so many straws and connectors so she can make endless creations. She has also made 2D/3D shapes for school work using them. They come in a very strong, good quality storage box and there is a leaflet with ideas for things to make. I would really recommend to children of all ages 3+ (as my 2 year old finds it hard to join them together.)

This is a great set, and provides plenty of opportunity for open ended play. It’s kept our crew occupied for hours at a time.There’s plenty of straws/connectors and even two sets of four wheels, one large and a smaller set.It was pricier than I wanted to spend but the quality is actually very good. Delivery was quick as well, as it wasn’t a prime delivery. I also liked that the shipping packaging was a reused box from another item, I always try to reuse postage bags and boxes so it was nice to see this being done.I also like the fact the whole thing comes with a good quality storage tub to keep them all in.

This is the second box I've bought of this size for my 5 year old grandson who adores building. He now has a smaller set at his home and a set at his great grandparents house as well as his grandparents house. They are sturdy enough to build virtually anything with and together with his grandad has built everything in the small brochure that comes with the set as well as a few that aren't. Definitely a winner in everyone's eyes. Worth the money as he spends hours playing with them when they come out.

I have enjoyed using this set to build things with the kids. They are easy to connect and I really like how quickly your structure grows. Our kids like dens. Although the straws are not rigid, if you choose your design carefully and don't make it too tall, they will support a light tablecloth or small sheet. Great fun.

We've made so many things with these straws, from houses to robot suits! This is our second box, as we wanted to build even bigger things with them!They are fairly wobbly when you build big stuff, so you have to learn how to build them with a bit more stability - we construct things as cubes, and build with them, as that helps.

My little builders (4 and 6) love these! They are sturdy enough for a bed sheet, but not blanket. My boys are slowly learning about stabilisation;-) it also goes great with the SIENIANLINE Straw Constructor set.

My kids have played with these for almost a year. They are mess when out, so if your kids don't clean up after themselves, they aren't the toy for them. But they make so many odd things out of them and are constantly playing with them. They do bend them which eventually ruins them and I toss them, and the product it's self does eventually crack on the ends and you have to toss those, but there are so many and they play with them so much I would buy them again. We have used the non flex kind that have balls, and I will say these are slightly less sturdy, but there are so many more. The balls in the other sets are so heavy you can't really put anything on top anyways so they are equal in the ability to turn them into tents in my opinion - neither do that well.

Magnifico gioco x il mio bimbo di 8 anni e anche per mamma e babbo sì divertono un sacco insieme. Si possono creare infinite cose. Cannucce robuste e tantissimi agganci. Vi riempiranno la casa di invenzioni. Bel libricino dentro la scatola per dare un sacco di spunti all'immaginazione. Ottimo gioco alternativo!

Acheté pour mon fils de 5 ans il s’éclate avec et fait travailler son imagination, sa création et sa motricité et en tant qu’adulte on se prend vite au jeu et on passe de super moment père fils.

Colorful straws that easily connect into many possible shapes and structures. The set stimulates the imagination of my 5 year grandchildren and has provided hours of fun for them.

El plástico es de buena calidad y tiene muchísimas unidades, para poder construir cualquier cosa que se nos pase por la imaginación. Si estuviese al mismo precio, lo volvería a comprar, pero ahora es más caro.
