I'm really struggling with screen protectors for the Xperia XZ. I've tried two tempered glass ones but they were awful, so I've gone back to the flexible sticky plastic type (this one) and it's no better. First of all, as others have mentioned, the instructions for application are very complicated. The reason they are so complicated is ultimately because the product is not very good. It's soft, easily scratched and your finger nails can 'catch' on it when you're swiping if you get the angle wrong. There are ridges visible if I hold the phone at an angle, from where I pushed the bubbles out with the cardboard applicator as per the instructions. It's a bit like the ridges you see in a concrete road surface. Finally the edges don't stay stuck down, they just end up sticking out so there's little point in having the curved part of the screen covered. This is despite the claims made in the title of the product listing about it sticking down on the edges.Overall I'm disappointed with this product as it specifically fails to do what it's advertised as doing. Tempted to leave the screen uncovered and embrace the scratches that will inevitably appear over time.

These screen covers are amazing, I have looked everywhere to find a protector that covers the screen right to the edge, especially over the rounded edges.These are perfect, if you spend some time going through the detailed instructions inside, you cannot fail to apply these correctly.I absolutely love them and I cannot tell my screen has a protector on at all, apart from the cut out parts but that is not easily visible.I love the kit it comes with, because you receive wet wipes, duster, and small stickers to lift the protector if it's not in right place and further stickers to remove particles on the screen prior to application.The difference between these are other protectors is, they have 3 parts, rather than the usual 2, this has an extra part so you can attach it to the top part of the screen (meaning you have chance to position it correctly before peeling off the remainder of the protector.I would recommend these to anyone.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:I have been using the screen protector films for just over a month, and can honestly say that I have not had to replace it yet, and you do get 3 in each pack. It's definitely a huge relief to know that my screen is perfect but the bonus is, that it doesn't deflect or cover the beauty of the phone.I think I have covered everything, but if not I am happy to answer any questions x

Ok, so this thing really is a b*@#% to stick on. As others have said, it's a good job you get three, because it will take you that many attempts to get it right! You've really got to follow the instructions EXACTLY, take your time, preferably have a second person to help you and be in a pretty dust free environment. That's no short order right?!HOWEVER, once you've got it right, and got it on, the Ghost Shield screen protector is AMAZING! It's basically the screen equivalent of the "second skin" spray. You don't notice it, it's not as affected by finger prints as some others, because it's pliable, it can't smash or crack and fits perfectly around curved edges of screens like the Sony Xperia XZ.Hands down, best screen protector I've ever had, now I'm trying to find one for my tablet!

I would have offered zero stars if it were possible - this product [the worst I have ever purchased] is a complete waste of time and money!! - a simple system made far too complex and nigh on impossible to fit without bubbles [even specifically following the instructions offered on the outside of the pack which should have been taken as a warning they know they have a poor procduct here] - of course if you're up for a challenge to see how few bubbles you are left with once fitted - this could be for you!I've used 2 of the 3 'screen films' already, and not going to waste my time trying another - buy this at your peril - money down the drain!!! - or give your money to charity - it'll offer you better valueinside the pack you will find a credit card size pad that is aptly named STEAL [TH]

I ordered these for the wife after her tempered glass screen protector cracked just to see how they'd fair and so far so good. The instructions were clear and there was a link provided for a video if you are unsure (which we did not feel we needed). If you follow the instructions to a tee and ensure the screen is perfectly clean you get a great result. We managed to apply perfectly on the first attempt with no bubbles and it looks great. Seems to be doing a good job and we've had no issues so far with any part of the screen protector. Would definitely look at this brand again when moving to another phone.

No problem at all. Had the phone for about a week before I bought this. I have applied many screen protectors in the past, usually got it right first time, or second.This kit comes complete. I cleaned the screen beforehand with kitchen cleaner until it looked clean under the light. Opened the packet and found 2 IPA wipes plus a squege. Cleaned it more and wiped with the included cloth.As usual, there is a 1, 2,3 steps to pulling off the protective film. Step 1 is a thin strip at the top which you align first, and if you get it wrong isn't the end of the world as the area isn't backlit. This step is important, never seen it before, but helps a lot.I made sure I had lined up the rest of it first, then slowly lower it, Squegy at the ready.Sucess. Afterwards, I looked at the tabs, and they have writing on them. Very Vey small writing. I'd need a microscope to see it.Oh, and there are instructions on the inside of the outer packet.
