LG 43LJ594V 43 inch Smart LED TV (2017 Model) [Energy Class A+]

I have an almost identical model in another room, so bought this one because i know i love the interface and the selection of apps available for it (Spotify, Now TV, Amazon Video and Netflix) are all services i subscribe to, and all available so no need for an additional device and an extra remote.Picture quality and sound quality are good. Easy to set up and use. Arrived within 24 hours of ordering.

we’ve bought LG tv’s for years and got this one for our bedroom. I like that the remote on this one has shortcut buttons for Netflix and Amazon, ones we watch all the time. Just need one with a Now tv button and i’m sorted :) a good quality tv for the price. The tv seems to have a bit of a lag when you’re scrolling through the menus. So you think you’ve selected one option and then it loads another. Only a minor niggle and probably not an issue for those with more patience! It comes with 2 hdmi sockets but for some reason they are on different sides of the tv, so had to buy a longer hdmi lead for one. No headphone socket or bluetooth option for wireless headphones

It doesn't have multi screen facility as expected but the viewing quality is good.

Great entry into the world of 'smart TVs'. This LG 1080p TV features resolution upscaling, to produce a cleaner, sharper image. As well as featuring a sharper image and sleeker design, the 'virtual surround' improves sound 'depth', which is great if you don't have/want an actual surround sound system or a sound bar.LG's webOS smart UI has won awards for its simplicity and design, which is perfect for someone looking to upgrade their TV, but is concerned about learning all the new features.One of the most important aspects of this TV is that it uses an IPS panel, so it is perfect for wider rooms/multiple viewing angles, but does not perform as well as other panel technologies in a dark room (which aren't great for viewing angles).Uses LG's award winning webOS/Smart hub; plenty of ports/connections; HDMI, optical, USB, ethernet, WIFI, etc; Phone-control support; image customisation, and VESA mount supported.Overall an impressive TV for the price, and a great 1080p TV for someone new to 'smart' features.

Purchased this TV, and within weeks the remote stops working. Contacted Amazon who directed me to the manufacturer, LG, let me just say that the customer care, or rather lack of it, received from LG was appalling. They simply don't care. about 40 emails and zero support later, I have since purchased a universal remote in order to simply change the channels on a tv thats barely a few months old. Ridiculous customer service from LG. All things amazon related (shipping, purchasing, delivery etc were fine). Avoid LG, pay a few quid extra for a Samsung!

Item arrived on time. Setup was pretty easy. So far, it's been amazing. Sound quality is great, picture quality is superb. It is a smart TV for those wondering. And the screen share feature has been very good. All in all a good purchase. Would definitely recommend.

The general feel and look of the TV is fine, though the program guide is very slow to load, and with no "picture in picture" you lose what you were watching whilst browsing (verrrrrry slooooowly!)I wasn't impressed by the sound quality either, you'll need a decent sound-bar (there is an optical socket but no cable).There is NO audio out option to wire in a stereo system. Again I ask manufactures and retailers PLEASE show some photos of the back of sets so we can see what terminals/inputs/outputs are available.The major issue with this set? It's useless at streaming Youtube. After about 5-12 minutes (max) you'll get the error message "this app will now restart to free up more memory." When it wakes up again, you're back at the home page. I contacted LG and they suggested rebooting to clear the cache - hardly a practical solution doing this every 5 minutes.This problem is like a rash over numerous web Forums and LG seem unwilling or unable to address what should be a simple firmware update issue. They have gone so far as to remove the YouTube app from their sets and I had to ask them to walk me through the installation. In hindsight it's obvious they removed the app because they know it won't work!Handy buttons for Netflix AND Amazon Prime though - at least I liked that!

Really happy easy to set up great picture excellent value for money some people commented on the stand but it is perfectly suitableHighly recommended
