Oxo Oil Stopper/Pourer in silver/black, Stainless Steel, 10.8 x 4.13 x 26.67 cm

This is simply the best oil stopper/pourer on the market. Yes, it is a little pricey BUT it works brilliantly. It delivers a steady, slow drizzle of oil and the lock handle closes the pourer off to the air - a MUST for olive oil. I absolutely recommend this product if you are looking for a quality, solid oil driller.

A great oil stopper/pourer does not fit all bottles but perfect when you do get the right fit and I like that you can close its stopping the oil going off

I use this product for oil and balsamic vinegar. It fits well into the two bottles I chose to use, The balsamic vinegar poured fast enough but the olive olive oil poured very slowly. On examining the pourer I noticed that when the lever is fully raised the pourer is not fully open. In fact the pourer is fully open when the lever is almost horizontal. To see this remove the pourer and look through the spout while holding it up to the light. Open the pourer by moving the lever slowly until both the holes line up. The pourer is now fully open but the lever is almost horizontal. Not towards the vertical as you might imagine. Put the pourer back in the bottle and try pouring. You should see a much better flow rate. This, to me, would appear to be a design fault and I will be reporting it to Oxo.

A little disappointed. Looks bulky on the bottle and oil comes out way too slow.

As others have said, not an easy or good fit into bottles, but I did get it to stay put in 19mm bottle top.The air inlet is very small and does stop allowing air in almost immediately, so the fluid only trickles out in glugs as the air has to go in the exit spout.Then it started leaking out of the body, at the bottom of the metal part, and out of the pivot on both sides. It was running down the bottle and dripping off!Not fit for purpose.Returned after only about two weeks of once or twice a day use. Amazon fortunately refunded me. Should be removed from sale.

Brilliant product, over the moon with it so far. Although the oil pours fairly slowly this is not really a problem, I fitted the device into an old but attractive Glayva bottle, it looks really good, its no longer assigned to the cupboard but now stands next to the cooker. I used to have to tie a piece of kitchen roll round the neck of the bottle to stop the oil running down, no problem now, a very attractive and well designed pourer. 10/10. Would happily give it more than 5 stars. Quite happy with the price, well worth it, saves work and waste.

I looked at several types, including some VERY much cheaper, but in the end went for this type because of the good reviews. Good decision - it does exactly what I wanted, which is a quite slow drizzle for olive oil. No drips, the shut-off lever works perfectly (not stiff at all on mine, as one reviewer had complained), and it fits reasonably tightly into a standard wine bottle (with a cork-sized neck). A full-sized wine bottle is too large (in capacity) for my olive oil needs, but the smaller-sized ones (with the same neck-size) are perfect. Only very slight critisism is that visually it's just a bit "chunkier" than I expected, but that really dosn't matter at all to me since it works so well. (It would probably look nicer to me in a rather wider bottle.)
