Q: Can this be used on the wooden track? Thanks

Yes it is can fit the Thomas wooden tracks as well as the Brio. I do find the bends it struggles as its core frame is bigger but not frustrating for a child, more for an adult who is obsessive.

Q: Will this work on big jigs tracks?

We've used all of our trackmaster trains on wooden tracks, which are compatible with BigJigs. On that basis I'm just about to buy this, to use on a wooden track. For your info... BigJigs sell a wooden Flying Scotsman that is motorised too.

Q: Does this work on the old Tomy blue track?

No. The wheels are different designed for girping the new style track
