This blister pack arrived simply packed and in perfect condition.These are a reputable and popular brand.I have these in grey, black and white, and think they are really good.They blend well, including with other brands although definitely best with other Conte pastels.It's also straightforward to get a sharp line where needed.They're affordable, and excellent quality.Definitely recommend.Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

Good quality paper

Lovely product for good price. Sadly several pastel sticks broken into many shards on arrival. Box obviously dropped at some point since packed at source. Arrived well packaged from Amazon and well protected so must have been broken before dispatch. Not un usable but a bit disappointing for new product.

This sketching crayon, used alone, or in conjunction with the famous 'trois crayons' colours is a delight to use.It lays down well on a variety of surfaces - from simple sketching paper through to textured pastel papers.the consistency is perfect, it blends and smudges well, and it feels natural - lines can be applied swiftly and effectively.A drawback may be that it smudges really easily. Once you;ve done your drawing, it would be best to use a fixative to secure your work.

I have been using these for the past five years and find their covering and blending excellent and work particularly well when you want to work with a limited colour palette.
