Amazing value for money for a very playable, decent quality instrument
Bought as “Used Like New". Arrived quickly. Item is in brand new condition including all accessories, manuals etc which were in new from factory condition. In other words, the item was brand new. I can only echo most of the other comments on here and say it is fantastic value for money. The finish is stunning, and it plays great straight out of the box after a little tweak, I have lowered the action by adjusting the bridge screws. Intonation is spot on, no adjustment necessary. Doesn't have quite the same sustain as more expensive Epiphone SG and Gibson models, probably because of the bolt on neck but that's about all the notable difference there is. The 'killpot' feature is great fun although musically probably pretty useless. For the price I got it for (£106.00), should it have been no good as a serious musical instrument, it still would have been worth buying to put up on the wall.

Classy SG
A good guitar regardless of ability, lovely sound and tone from it. I used to have a Yamaha Pacifica package and this is twice the guitar.Looks fabulous as a piece of room art. Setup on arrival was pretty good, don't be put off by the setup process learn it off YouTube you need to know it anyway, small steps is best. Easily tuned up (I used a tuning app on my smart phone). Spend £40 ish on a decent practice amp, always a good quality lead and enjoy.

Love this guitar. As with most/all copies - needed re-stringing to sound good.
I love this Guitar. As with most 'copies' - even those produced by the brand (Gibson) themselves - as these Epiphone guitars are, they need a small amount of love when you first get them. (or maybe it's just I'm a bit of a perfectionist) Specifically new strings - I fitted Super Slinky's, which improved the sound greatly, and the guitar stays in tune much better. I also had to tighten one slightly loose screw (I checked all upon arrival). My specific guitar came with slight impact damage to the tone knob - presumably from transit. I wasn't going to risk sending back etc. so I just ordered a pair of new Gibson SG Knobs right here on Amazon - less hassle and fitted perfectly. I now have a spare.

Instant Rock Star. Great Guitar For The Price.
I bought this as a birthday present for my son, who is learning guitar. He spent ages checking what instruments his favourite metal guitarists played, and finally decided on a Gibson SG (Tony Iommi, Jus Oborn from Electric Wizard and Dave Wyndorf from Monster Magnet were the key deciders). I like to think I'm a pretty awesome dad, but I wasn't prepared to shell out on a genuine Gibson SG for him just yet, so we went for this, the fantastically priced Epiphone SG-Special.We did have a problem with the first guitar somehow vanishing prior to dispatch, but another was sent promptly and fortunately it arrived without incident. I'm no great shakes on guitar, but I can get some recognisable tunes out at a push, and after busting out a few riffs, fumbling through some scales and strumming some chords, I was pretty impressed, and the KillPot is fun to play with. There was a small amount of fret buzz initially, but that was soon taken care of (I would recommend getting any guitar set-up professionally anyway). My son is finding it a joy to play, and spends plenty of time happily playing rock riffs through a little practice amp in his bedroom, and, I must admit, I'm very tempted to get one for myself too.

In love with a new guitar.
Guitar came very well packed.Opening brought very nice feeling. The guitar is very well made and has a good value for its price.I'm a beginner and can't judge the sound performance. However, for my ear guitar sounds very good and brings a lot of joy from practicing.
