I have been using old tooth brushes to clean bits of our cycles, and an old pillow case to wipe down the frames, but it's good to now have something designed for the job. I was considering buying one of those chain cleaning devices, but decided this set was a bit more versatile, and I find sticking the chain in an old ice cream tub with some degreasing fluid and one of these brushes does the job really well.The only downside is that with the number of miles I do, and the amount of dirt picked up by my kit, these won't last long until they are several shades of grey. Still, they can always be cleaned...

great set for cleaning bicycles. Love the hand mitt which makes it easy to clean the seat, frame, handlebars and forks. The brush is good and can be wrapped round the tyre to get rid of excess mud (not that I have had to do this too often as my bike is rarely in the mud!). The other tools are great for getting in amongst the spokes on the wheels and into the tight areas of gears etc. All in all a bargain.
