Where are the ingredients sourced?

Zinc 30 is manufactured in the United States at Pure Encapsulations' Sudbury, Massachusetts facility. The zinc is sourced from the United States, the ascorbyl palmitate is sourced from China, the hypoallergenic plant fiber is sourced from the United States. As with all raw materials, each batch of ingredients received by Pure Encapsulations is tested upon reception for identity, potency (if applicable) and contaminants, which can include heavy metals, residual solvents, allergens, pesticide residues and others depending on ingredient and level of risk.

How many mg of elemental zinc in the 30 mg capsule?

Robert B. Mercer's answer is not correct. I called Pure Encapsulations and spoke to dietician Katie. She said that all Pure Encapsulations show the amount in elemental form, and that Zinc 30 contains 30 mg of element zinc. Thanks.

Does this have magnesium stearate in it?

Pure Encapsulation products contain no hidden coatings, excipients, binders, fillers, shellacs, artificial colors, artificial flavors or fragrance. They do not use magnesium stearate, preservatives, BHA or BHT in their products.

Has anyone given this to their teenager for acne? Have you seen results?

They have a zinc for acne supplement for sale on amazon that seems to be specially formulated for the pimple problem. It has some other helpful nutrients in it as well.
