Is it good to install for tenants, as we let three room's including bills. Does it help to save energy.

It controls the boiler on or off according to the room temperature so i would think it would not be suitable for three rooms . If you want to control these separately I think you would probably need to fit thermostatic valves on individual radiators

I was lucky that it was a straight swap so wiring was the same. It depends on whether you only have a room stat or also have a timer connected to gas heating In which case you will have extra wires. I had the extra blue and yellow wires to link with timer stat. If in doubt I would always consult an electrian.

My current thermostat has i believe 3 or 4 wires. Will this work?

Hi, 4 wires can only be L, N, SL and E in which case the Swap is like for like, if three you are missing the N in which case it would work but not to its design specification.

This is a very simple thermostat, you simply turn the dial up or down to your required temperature- it clicks when it's at the temperature shown on the dial. I'm very pleased with it.
