Fantastic Value Laptop
Purchased for running children's work at our church. Very compact, easy to set-up and good quality screen. Had to buy a mini-HDMI converter lead to connect to the TV, but other than that (and a case), this is all ready to go. There is an optional HDD drive on the underside which could be added at a later date, though the 64GB storage is easily sufficient for now. Comes complete with Windows 10 and easy to use Microsoft Office 365 if you already have a subscription. Definitely recommended.

Very cheaply made but looks nice !
Not what I expected & a bit misleading to,this is actually windows 10 in s mode not ( 10 home ) not everyone wants s mode & it does not list that,it looks the part but is very flimsy,I’d pay £80 for it at a push that’s all it’s really worth.speakers only work when they feel like it & the charger lead falls out if your not carful if you have it on your lap.I’m not going to give it no stars as I think a few is being a bit bitchy but it’s not worth 5 stars for sure,I am returning it,if Amazon said I could have it for £80 I’d still give it some thought, not really bothered about the speakers this was just for software updates for my drone,I have a MacBook and I’ll stick with that but would have been nice to have the option for which one I use ……. I wouldn’t let me submit unless I gave it a star if 2 and half was on there that’s were I’d be but I was generous in giving it 3!

Very happy purchase !
Very happy with this product and am glad to support smaller UK businesses - bravo !Battery life doesn't really bother me if I'm honest but the screen quality is superb - whether watching a football game or just editing or creating documents.Very happy thus far !

Just impossible to use.....
Absolutely appalling laptop! It looks nice, the screen is lovely, but it just seems to do what it wants, it is impossible to use. The reviews I read before I purchased this said that the speakers are a waste of time, but that didn’t really matter to me as I wanted it to do my Open University study on.My first essay took me hours to type up, as the cursor just kept randomly jumping back up the essay to a point of its choice, so I’d be typing away, look up, and find I was typing in the middle of a previous paragraph!I bought a wireless mouse to see if that stopped it jumping around, scrolling when it felt like it, opening anything it wants, and generally being impossible to use. I contacted the Fusion5 team (who replied very quickly), they told me to turn the keypad off (Fn+F2), which admittedly did help, and they solved the problem of the fact the keyboard decided to start typing numbers (Fn+Alt+F12), but why should I have to do these things, shouldn’t it just work?I contacted the team again to say I was just going to chuck it in the bin (which I can no way afford to do. I wish I had just bought an old second-hand laptop to be honest) and they said to send it to them, as it is under warranty, but I would have to delete stuff off it first (my O/U stuff and bank details are now on it and I don’t want anyone getting hold of my details). I am also Agoraphobic, suffer from Anxiety and Panic Disorders, and therefore don’t just stroll down to the Post Office! Also, I need something to work on! I can’t send it away and not be able to at least send in my excuses…..I’m sorry, but just don’t waste your money on this, I have given it time to settle in, but it’s impossible to use for academic work. My second essay has gone past it’s submission date because of this machine.I have had to type this on a friend’s computer, just to make it readable.

Tidy PC for Students and Light Users
This PC was bought as a substitute for a heavier laptop I hauled to college every day. It's pretty good considering the price it goes for while being as thin as a MacBook air and as light as one too. Here are some pros and cons to the PC. My Spec: 14.1"+ version (4gb Ram)Pros:12 month warranty1080p display is crisp and clearPre-installed with windows 10 and doesn't come with any bloatware.Decent Intel processorBattery lasts about 6 hours between web browsing, YouTube, document editing etcThe eMMC storage is faster than the standard mechanical drives, boots up fast (only 64Gb of storage though, but can add a micro SD card to increase this)Looks pretty good, casing looks like aluminum - even up closeCons:Keyboard is alright (have to hit the space bar/shift key dead-centre for it to register)Trackpad is ok as well, could be more sensitiveInstalled WiFi card is fairly weak, just buy a USB WiFi card to remedy thisThe charger cable is ludicrously short (about half the length of a standard cable)The battery takes way too long to charge, have to leave it charging overnight for full capacity. The in-built speakers are just bad In Summation:This PC is a decent choice for students/light users looking for a cheap, but pretty good laptop to carry around and do work on.

Lovely laptop, but a little on the slow side to boot up.
13th July 2018Pressed the power button and up popped an English language screen, loaded fast, up popped Cortana, and I thought..... Great this will be really easy, and it was....until I had to go out for an hour, I powered it down into sleep mode, and when I got back, I pushed the button to wake it up and nothing... Held the button for 15 seconds still nothing, held the Power button down for 25 seconds and finally it buzzed into life. I know that this is not a top-end gaming laptop, but I do expect something to happen a bit quicker. On the + side, it has 2 USB slots which is great, perfect for a mouse and printer plugin, it's super lightweight, the keyboard has been copied with a MAC focus as the keys are wide apart, and soft to the touch, the touchpad is a little cheap and clunky, but it's been well made and laid out well.Buyer beware that it is slow to boot up and get going, but once up its very fast. Other than that, it's a very decent little machine.26th August 2018 UpdateUnit still working strong, no issues to report....
