A very very good notebook
I love Moleskin diaries. The first time I bought one I was put off slightly by the price, and I don't buy them very often for this reason, but the paper is of such good quality, and they last for so long that normally I don't have to buy them very often anyway. This particular notebook is plain (no lines), it's a good size to carry around in a handbag or briefcase, and it has a good number of pages. The elastic around the book to keep it closed is a very handy feature and, again, the quality of the paper marks it out from the rest. Also, the soft, black cover is an attractive and practical design.

Pages are a bit thin
Moleskine will always be a favourite brand of mine, and whilst I love their products, the plain notebook's pages are a bit on the thin side. Good for everyday notes, but I wouldn't recommend it for more serious applications. For example, rollerball ink and fountain ink tends to bleed through. Due to the slight transparency, you can partially see the page underneath, which can be problematic if you do scanning. On the plus side, at 192 pages, it does last quite a while, and I've never had any problems with the durability.Summary:+ 192 gives you plenty of write/draw on+ well constructed, doesn't fall apart easily+ the back pocket is always useful+ elastic band is normally nice and tight+ the soft cover is quite durable, and you shouldn't worry about it get folded or creased unless you fall asleep or sit on it with the cover open- thin pages: slightly see-through- ink tends to bleed through- no stickers: would be nice to have some labels to stick on the front cover as a way of identifying the notebook contents, especially if you have a lot of moleskines.

Best paper and cover quality!
This notebook is such a gem! The paper feels super soft but still thick enough to write on without any fuss. The soft cover makes it easy to carry around, and the smooth texture of cover just feels nice in your hands. Totally in love with it—easily one of my faves!

Can't Live without One
God this is amazing.I never realised I needed this in my life until I bought one, so practical and useful to carry round with you. In this day and age of smart phones and tablets you'd think a notebook would be on its way out but when you need something to jot a quick reminder down on or give out details to someone you can't start messing around for the app on your phone that you never really use and will forget about in 5 minutes flat - you need a piece of paper. The quality of this item is fantastic and as the cover is soft and flexible it can happily live in your coat pocket without noticing it is there until you need it.Invest in one today and never look back.

To scrawl within the 'skine would just be a crime
Whilst something of a cliche now, Moleskines have become so for good reason. Whether as a self-indulgent nice thing to have, or as a gift, they fit the bill perfectly. The manufacturing quality shines through. Personally, I mainly use them for work as my company provides pretty pedestrian notebooks that are just a little but samey and mediocre . We office workers don't have many areas to express our (albeit sensibly bland) style - the Molskine affords that chance, with the "the king" being the Large soft cover, plain black: cool and professional. The slightly off-white creamy pages are easy on the eye too and don't glare at you beneath, unnecessarily bright, office lighting. I'm hooked. I tend to use about one a year at work - so that's not too high a price really to per day. The lines are well spaced too - so your writing takes up the fewest pages without feeling cramped. In fact, I think owning one may even improve your handwriting - to scrawl within the 'skine would just be a crime.
