Lovely knife. Keeps its edge and comfortable.
I bought this knife for my not-yet-girlfriend, who was also a scout leader, as a Christmas present. It is the same as several which I bought for our Explorer unit, except in pink. We love these knives for several reasons. They are inexpensive, but good quality. They have durable sheaths which clip to your belt. They arrive sharp, and maintain an edge very well. The shape of the blade is nice to work with. It is not too thick for fine feathering, and not too slim for tough battening. The belly of the blade is always nice and sharp, with a lot of leverage for fine work. They can be ordered as stainless steel, which does not rust. The blades are simple and easy to clean, sharpen and polish. The handles are comfortable, durable, and this particular one is easy to see in a dark field at night. We've used a lot of knives over the years, cheap or expensive, bulk bought or bespoke, small or large. These Mora Companions are the ones I always recommend to our scouts and Explorers, and I generally pick one of these up for any jobs around the house. Also, this blade was the one that I like to think won me my soul mate, so it will always have a place in my heart. If this review was useful to you, then please hit the 'helpful' button below. Another great product from Mora
Ordered this for the missus, she absolutely loves it! The product came shaving sharp, albeit with some minor water spots on the blade but these were easily buffed out.The sheath is a nice, secure fit with a satisfying click when holstering the knife. I do wish, however, that the sheath had the swivel belt loop as the Mora Firestarter comes with. The belt loop on this is solidly fixed to the rest of the sheath, and is of the type that clips to your belt rather than slide your belt through. The handle is very well shaped making for very comfortable use.Overall, another very happy Mora purchase!

Not a Mora fad
As an avid mora fan and owning a few others I really wanted the pink that seems to be outta stock most of the time at my favourite little bushcraft stores so I was happy to see it stocked by Amazon. Sharp straight out the box and In perfect condition and the usual perfect quality you get from Mora as always. Even though I thought this would end up just another knife in the collection I have and it being more a fad knife released just because I'm excited it's actually more robust than some of my other Mora companion range. Certainly worth the price

A great knife at a great price
A great knife that arrived sharp as anything, sits well in its sheath and has a good belt clip that's actually difficult to drop. Highly recommend it as a work tool. There's many other knives at way higher prices, that simply aren't as good.

Looks good and works well
Love the fact that my pink knife stood out at my recent forest school training course. No one else had pink! It’s sharp, easy to use and clicks back into the holder. I’ve put parachord on the holder in order to wear it whilst working as I didn’t have a belt or waist to clip it to on my waterproofs. It would be good if you could choose the type of holder as I don’t think many people would feel safe with it just hanging on their belt. When you want to put it away quickly you also have to make sure it goes in the holder the right way round- so perhaps a way to easily identify the right way round. These are just small points. It helped me to create a pleasing whittled butter knife 🙂

The wife wanted her own Mora
2nd Mora companion I have bought, the first was for me and the wife was so impressed with it she wanted her own for camping - hence the shocking pink.Knife arrived razor sharp and had no problem shaving an are of my arm. Being stainless steel good for food prep and this is the role it will probably do the most.Has been used for cable cutting, box opening, makeshift steak knife, food prep, whittling and it has handled it all with ease.Cheap reliable knife.
