Araldite ARA-400012 Instant Syringe Epoxy, 24 ml, Packaging May Vary

Excellent glue, but the 'INSTANT' version 'goes off' extremely quickly, so this is only good for very fast, small, spot glue jobs. If you need to mix a lot for sticking large areas and things together, buy the regular Araldite.

Sets quickly. But didn’t seem to set as hard as the 5 minute version. It may be down to user error. Or not allowing to full set before putting strain on the glued joint.

This is the best adhesive, bar none. There really is nothing that comes anywhere close to it. I’ve been using it since the 80’s and I’ve not found anything anywhere near as good. I use it mainly to glue 3D printed parts and the glue joint is usually the strongest part. It’s super convenient to use with the dual syringe setup, just squeeze, mix and apply. After 10 minutes or so there’s no turning back - the joint is permanent. Overall I can’t say enough good about this glue. There really isn’t anything that can compete with it.

Useful for sticking things that need some flexibility in use. Either mix a small amount of resin by hand using the supplied tool or for the mixer if you are using a larger amount. Simple to use and effective is used appropriately.

This glue is really strong when mixed. The problem is that, unlike the 'old days', when you'd squeeze a bit from two tubes and mix them together to make it set, now it comes with a nozzle which mixes the two parts for you. "Great, that's easy", you say - and, yes it is, but the problem is that you can't clean the nozzle out, so the glue sets in the nozzle, so the nozzle is not reusable. It does come with two nozzles, but given that I just used about 1ml of glue the first time (that's all that was needed), and I estimate about 3ml was left in the nozzle, that's only 4ml of the 24ml used. If I use a similar amount next time, I'll end up throwing half of it away because I have no way of using it as the nozzles have been used up. Note that what I received is not like the image for the item, which still has the old 'mix it yourself' system, which was much more economical. In these days of trying to reduce waste, it looks as if Araldite has taken a huge step backwards by changing to one-use nozzles and a system which means you'll waste most of the glue as well.

Didn't like the mixing nozzle - it needed excessive force to squeeze the product through. But it worked fine without it, mixing in the conventional way. Therefore does not warrant knocking a star off.

Absolute crap, this is the worst epoxy I've ever used. It doesn't go off in 90 minutes, it doesn't go off after 24 hours, in fact it just doesn't harden at all. Being araldite I thought it would be good, but it is awful. On top of that, whoever designed the mixing syringe needs to be sacked, it simply doesn't work no matter how hard you push on the plunger. Do not waste your money, buy Gorilla instead.

Excellent fast cure clear epoxy, only gripe would be that the 2 tubes provided generally mean only 2 uses which is not so good for smaller jobs where the tube maybe used many times.

This syringe version is OK the first time it is used but the miixing nozzle is then full of hardened araldite and trying to extract the glue and hardener afterwards is difficult. Better to have two separate tubes which is what I'll buy next time.

I used this on glass, worked great. Won’t know if it turns yellow for a while.
