I wasn't sure, when I bought this, how difficult it might be to install. But it was easy, and it looked and worked as well as I had hoped.

Had years of asking my daughter to close the living room door. I decided to solve the issue by getting closer. Color blends in well with out decor. Very easy to fit however, I do need a bit more tension but I feel if I turn the bar another notch it may damage it. That said, the door does close but not fully because of the door handle catch is stiff so it's stopping it. Another slight niggle is, when the door closes, it does make a very slight rubbing noise when the bar slides along the plastic guide attached to the door. Not a deal breaker but it's there. Over all I'm happy, no more arguments and my thermostat in the hallway on the other side of the door now has a more constant temperature to work with lol

Very efficient device, works very well Only criticism is the screws could be stronger, even when screwing into medium hard WOOD, the final screw head broke away. fortunately the other three held the main body into place.

Does what it claims, but disappointingly noisy in operation. It makes a sound like grinding metal when the core rotates. Also the supplied screws are poor quality - the head stripped on the first one I tried to drive home and I had to remove it with a monkey wrench.

I purchased this door closer, and it has been nothing short of hazardous. During installation, the cheap, low-quality die-cast material cracked under normal pressure, exposing a razor-sharp edge that sliced deeply into my hand. The cut was bad enough that it’s still bleeding heavily. The body feels flimsy and poorly finished, and the included screws are absolute garbage – soft, cheap metal that strips instantly with even light torque. I had to stop the installation entirely because it became too dangerous to continue. This product isn’t just poorly made; it’s a genuine safety risk. Sharp, brittle parts that can break and cut you badly, combined with useless fixings. I strongly advise against buying this – it could cause serious injury. I’m returning it as soon as I can and will be warning everyone I know. Stay away!

This has been installed for about a month now. It was easy to install and works well to close the door fully, but doesn't slam it. Perhaps because this is fitted on an internal door which opens back wider than 90 degrees, the plate does not cover the full range of movement of the end of the closer and this has has caused marks on the door (a grey line). We also had an issue, when the door was being used by children without close supervision, that the bar has poked a hole in the door. Both of these issues have been remedied by installing a fingerplate along the full range of movement of the bar; and I would still replace this if it was to break.

I think this is great and worth the money. Keeps the door closed on the downstairs loo so no more walking in the front door and looking at the toilet 😊

Worked for a few weeks. Not sure why it broke one day. Perhaps I was using it under too much tension.

Gemonteerd en op spanning gezet deed niet met de deur dus wat strakker Daarna meteen defect. Weer teruggestuurd.

Bought this doorcloser for an inner door. Not all the reviews are positive about the supplied screwsso i installed it with better screws just to be sure. The Guiderail is not long enough according to some but if you install the spring-unit close to the hinges it should be good. Tensioning is a bit off a fiddle if the door is sunk deep in its post. Then you can use a extra tensioning arm beside the one which is supplied, an 8x80 mm bolt will do the job. Used it one week sofar and i am happy with it. Seems simple and robust enough.....
