Lyle's Black Treacle 454g

this year it has been so hard to find this make of treacle, makes gorgeous treacle toffee. Highly recommend.

Really good product

Unfortunately the product was badly damaged through customs so out of the three tins ordered we only got two tins and they were badly bent as well. the Treacle it is very good.

Treacle is treacle is treacle. What more is there to say. Usual Lyes quality and attractive tin. If you like treacle, you'll love this.

but when i do i guess the produce with be easy to make, and will be easy to eat. thankyou

Apart from being labeled as 456gm instead of a pound this is entirely the same product as a victorian shopper would have purchased over a century ago. Unlike its weaker but sweeter brother, Lyles Golden Syrup, a spoon will stand up in this. As a cooking ingredient there is really no substitute and never could be. I have trawled many shops and supermarkets without finding this so Amazon comes to the rescue

Wonderful, just as I remember it in the original packaging when I was a little girl baking with mum. Arrived quickly and the taste hasn't changed at all. Brings back awesome memories.

Ok, no mince pies, no christmas cake, all sold out so I just made myself a wonderful gingerbread, full of good spices and smells wonderful.

Ottima melassa tradizionale inglese. Perfetta per fare il gingerbread, ma anche da aggiungere in bibite o alimenti. Io la aggiungo al collagene ed al kefir per una colazione energetica ed utile per rinforzare ossa e articolazioni. E' ricca di minerali che non si trovano facilmente nella nostra alimentazione, come il rame. Consigliata.
