OXO 1373380 Good Grips Microfibre Delicate Duster, Inoxidable, Orange

It wasn’t until I lost the duster did I realise how much I used it & where. (It fell out of the window I didn’t realise until I saw it outside and thought someone else had one & had lost it! It was commissioned to lost for ever as we have several doggos in the area …) It can clean a delicate ornament to a whole bookcase and beyond. Its dusting ability is perfect. I have even used it to clean up DIY detritus and all was good. I used it for everything. Having to go back to the faffing about with a hand duster has not been fun. Nor as bright and cheerful. The head can be chucked in the wash which is handy and you can buy replacement heads! What’s not to love? Being without mine for over a fortnight and reverting back to gingerly trying to hold an ornament whilst trying to wipe with a hand duster - no fun.The price is decent for what you’re getting as they last forever. Well at least 5 years as I got mine in 2020. Being short and a woof owner that sheds his own profile in hair plus living rural next to a train line I wanted something that could just swirl & swipe. This is perfect. It’s made of a sort of cotton string and is very soft yet sturdy. Bright & fuzzy but not OTT. If you think of Animal you’re there. It doesn’t have a long handle but I can teach the top of doors & frankly I’m a hobbit. It’s good quality from a known brand & I fully recommend it! My new one is whizzing its way to me as I very type!

Very useful and quick to use, just flick it round and see it lift the dust. Good value at £7, handy and saves on polish.

Does what it says it should. Great for delicate dusting. If the threads are slightly snagged they tend to come out easily. Handle good and strong but for being better use for me it could be a couple of inches longer. Worth the price. I’ve not washed it yet so can’t comment on that but OXO stuff usually very good

This is well worth the price if you read reviews of cheaper versions! Usual OXO quality; no strands have detached. Quite a large head with hundreds of strands, but can be squeezed through smaller gaps when cleaning more robust items like TV, bookcases etc. Incredibly good for complex light fittings, shades and items with variable gaps / mouldings; saves time not having to thread dusters. This is sad, but you actually look forward to cleaning. (Note to self: “Must get out more”)

Nice duster to use. Some of the fibers came away while dusting, so don't know how long it will last. Head was a bit stiff to remove.

I am not the greatest when it comes to dusting and housework but realised I need something that is going to actually work well and get the dust from behind the tv/along the top of the tv, in the corner behind doors and general areas that get dusty (everywhere). I have two other dusters with long handles but this one is better for closer areas. It is a very bright orange so unlikely you will loose it in a hurry. The handle is quite short so only really useful for close things. It works well and seems so light when you use it. There is a hole in the top for hanging it up and I have tied a piece of ribbon around it so it is easy to hang. The front part just pops off when you push in the button and you can buy replacement heads which is always a good thing.My cat is not interested in it at all and looks a bit frightened of it but that is just trivia that I felt like mentioning :-) and does not take away from the fact it is a great item and I am pleased with it and OXO products in general always seem to be superior and last.

How much can you really write about a duster???Well this one is pretty different than your standard dusters that is for sure.My first impression was, 'oh its that small'. I think a lot of others have found themselves in the same situation as well. I guess it is easier to hold due to the small size, however it will be quite difficult to reach most places above your head height. The handle is really well made so that is a plus point. It has a small gap at the top as well so that it is easy to hand and store away. Now the really cool part. There is a small button where the handle and the duster strands join. This button allows you to disconnect the handle from the actual duster so that it can be easily cleaned and washed.Now the main question is...does it work?? Well it does clean really well. The microfiber threads do seem to make a difference. You can actually see the dust sticking on to the duster so that is a good sign. Again it is small so don't expect to do the house dusting with it. It is more for just small delicate items around the house.It will definitely attract some attention being orange and cute. So it is nice to hang up and doesn't make you feel like you need to hide it. All in all it is a nice duster. Is it worth the price? I am still a little 50/50 on that. If it was a larger one then I would have said yes.Nevertheless, I would recommend it.
