Been regripping my clubs and this came in handy. Was able to remove all the old tape from my clubs and putter with this tool. It is sharp so be careful not to cut yourself.

Would be difficult to remove the tape residue from the shaft without a tool like this. The working edge does the job and the knob makes using the tool comfortable.

I needed to remove very old grips and this made removing the grip tape very easy. Once you find the right angle, it scrapes thru anything. I scored a line down the tape to make it easier.

I purchased this item in an effort to streamline my golf grip tape removal but didn't find it useful at all and sent it back. It is much easier to use a blow dryer to soften the glue and peel off the tape. That leaves alot less residue on the club. The tool itself was as described and delivery was fast.

I gave this a try when replacing grips on four sets of clubs this spring. The stripper worked okay on a steel shaft but I was still stopping often to remove old glue and tape. I’m not really sure this would save much time in the entire regrip process.I did notice edge was sharp enough to damage a graphite golf shaft though so I only made one scrape with it on those and learned that lesson the hard way. It was a little too small for the graphite shaft as well.In the end I returned this after using it on the one club. It just didn’t seem to help as I’d hoped.

Works amazing on graphite. I was apprehensive at first but gave it a go, and I'm glide I did. The trick is to use heat in combination with this scrapper. Afterwords to get the rest of the residue off I used goo gone. Then scrubbed and washed the goo gone off with a scrub daddy. Made regripping my whole set a lot easier.

The tool is not very sharp and it takes a little muscle to remove the tape. I wish it was sharper! The handle is great for leverage.
