This is a very nice reel and compares favorably with higher priced brands, but do not use it in salt water the magnesium body will get eaten up by the salt faster than aluminum. There is a couple of reviews stating that they had no problems in salt. but give it time after repeated use in salt water it will deteriorate even if you clean it, so don't do it if you want the reel to last.

This reel is probably the best in my entire collection. I have been using in salt water for many months hardly ever rinsing or cleaning and it remains as perfect condition as when I took out of the box.Great ultra light for kayak fishing in salt water.

I thought this was just a cheap knockoff of the Okuma Inspira but because it looks similar and decided to put this on my cheaper rods. I actually like this reel alot more than my Okuma!

I bought this for surf casting. It may be used for big bluefish (>15 lbs) or striped bass. The reel seems awfully small, and the line capacity (180 yards braided 30 lb test) is surprising. More when I have a chance to test it.

Appears well made and is smooth. Using these as spares in case my regular ones go down.

Very nice and smooth fishing reel. It looks very small but works very good. I was surprised by how much I like it. I put it on my old medium heavy rod and it is great for white bass and it works very well

This is a really nice reel, it holds a good amount of line. I have caught a few decent sized bass and a 24" pike with this reel with no issues. It casts well and reel is very smooth. We will see how it holds up
